The event took place on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 from 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm in the California History Center at DeAnza College. IMPACT AAPI PEER MENTOR PROGRAM

The Peer Mentors for the CREM classes (EWRT 1A.18D and Math 114.06D) include Chianne Laiwa, Lilian Dang, Bianca Chang, Tam Tran, and Milborne Eugenio. The Peer Mentors for the LART 211 class are Henry Do, Christine Winn, and Linh Ton. Peer Mentors are helping facilitate classroom discussions, class community-building, peer editing, and other work as well as meeting with students outside of class to give feedback on homework or just offer moral support. IMPACT instructors Amy Leonard, Doli Bhambania, Veronica Avila, and Karen Chow, as well as IMPACT counselors Tom Nguyen, Susanne Chan, and Erick Aragon, and CREM and LART students benefit significantly from the Peer Mentor’s work.

before.
