Engines and fuel tanks:– Temporary binder in ceramic parts of spark plugs

GENESTAR™

High performance PA9T resin Excellent heat resistance, chemical resistance and low water absorption

Applications: Engines and fuel tanks:

– Used for a wide range of parts such as under the hood, fuel related parts and gears

Lighting & signaling: – Used for adaptive front lighting actuator gears and LED reflectors

Methacrylic resin molding material Superior transparency with bright luster, freely colored resulting in

attractive colors Most excellent weatherability and surface hardness among molding

materials Recyclable because of easy conversion into monomer by pyrolysis

Applications: Lighting & signing:

– Parapet® acrylic molding materials for tail lamp covers and number plates – Excellent weather ability, easy coloring and transparency

Instrument panels: – Highest transparency and surface hardness as compared to other plastics– widely used for meter panel covers instead of glass

Chemicals

Diols: 3-Methyl-1,5-pentanediol (MPD) and 1,9-Nonanediol (ND) Kuraray Polyols: Variety of derivatives from these diols MMB (3-methoxy-3-methyl-1-butanol) Hydrotrope & Solvent for improved

formulations  Applications: Seats & interior parts:

– Kuraray polyols used for car seat coatings– Optimize softness and toughness– Help reducing the content of solvent

Car shampoo & Car care products– MMB (3-methoxy-3-methyl-1-butanol)

Help stabilizing the formulation and to incorporating higher amount of surfactant. Act as degreasing agent even at low percentage (1%)
