This Workshop is the building block for your career as a stylist. It is designed to teach you how to “cut hair”not just how to do certain haircuts. Your confidence will grow as you develop a complete understanding of the technical side of precision cutting.

What an Apprentice will learn ?  Four Key Fundamental Haircuts Step by step, Solid Form, Graduation, Increase Layer, Uniform Layer, Plus Seven Personalising Techniques

How to breakdown a haircut from a picture Correct methods for using Scissors Thinning Scissors & Razor  Correct body positioning & posture for confidence and comfort. Precision cutting techniques.

Your Apprentice will receive a Personalised Action Plan & Manual to continue in-salon Training.

Who Should Attend ? 1st,2nd or 3rd year Apprentices not cutting, or any apprentice who feels they are not understanding the foundations of cutting. How we do it? We keep our class numbers to a minimum, techniques are demonstrated and each student then completes the process on a Natural hair, Natural Implant Mannequin while being personally supervised.

Day One: Combination Cutting Combining the four principle haircuts to produce Classic and Fashion Styles, Focusing on Cutting and Personalising Techniques for Ladies long hair and Medium hair, how to plan your appointment in a commercial environment.

Day Two & Three Short Hair: These two days flow through a complete analysis of Men’s cutting and Barbering Techniques through to Ladies Short Hair Cutting, Styling and Personalising Techniques.
