8.1 Shell and Partition

KYN28-12 Series H.V Metal Clad Switchgear shell and baffle

plate is made by aluminium zinc steel plate, the CNC machine

resistance to corrosion and oxidation resistance.

Due to adopting multiple flanging process, make the cabinet

8.2 Handcart

Handcart skeleton, uses the steel plate, riveting after processed

by CNC machine tool.

Handcart and Cabinet body insulation coordination, mechanical

interlocking, safe, reliable and flexible.

According to the purpose, handcart can be divided into the


circuit breaker handcart, voltage

transformer handcart, metering

handcart, and so on.

All kinds of height and depth of the

handcart is unified, the same

specifications of the handcart can swap.

Handcart in the Cabinet body with isolation/test position and

work location, each place has positioning device, to ensure

reliable interlocking, should be performed according to

interlocks prevent wrong operation procedure.

All handcart adopt rock propulsion, exit the nut, screw, its

lightweight, flexible operation, suitable for the personnel on

duty operation.

Handcart when you need to remove the Cabinet body, with a

special transport vehicles, can be pulled out, for all kinds of

8.3 Switchgear Inside the Compartment

KYN28-12 Series H.V Metal Clad Switchgear of the main

electrical components have their separate compartment, circuit


breaker room handcart room, bus room, cable room, relay

instrument room.

Each compartment protection grade achieved IP2X;

In addition to relay outside, other three compartment

respectively have its drain voltage channel.

Adopted the intermediate implantation, cable room position has

greatly increased, so the device can connect multiple cable.

8.3.1 Circuit Breaker Room

In the circuit breaker room installed for circuit breaker

handcart sliding guide rail.

Handcart can work in the location, test/isolation between

mobile.

Activity curtain plate made of metal plate installed after the

handcart room wall.

Handcart from isolation in mobile to work location/test

position, in a small busbar room and cable connection

chamber (cable room) in the static contact box on the static

contact of the activity curtain plate automatically open.

Reverse direction handcart, activity curtain plate automatic

closing, closed up and the static contact case, so as to

guarantee the operators do not touch the charged body.


Handcart in the switchgear door closed cases by operation,

8.3.2 Draw Out Type Circuit Breaker Handcar

in a circuit breaker on the outlet terminals, circuit breaker

operating mechanism of the control button and on/off

8.3.3 Bus Compartment Room

Bus bar from one switchgear to the other switchgear, through

the adjacent tank, and avoid mistress line deformation due to

the effect of electric power.

8.3.4 Cable Compartment Room

Cable compartment room back wall, can be installed current

transformer, voltage transformer, grounding switch, cable room

also can install lightning arrester.

After handcart and horizontal clapboard move, construction

personnel could enter a Switchgear installed cable from the


front.

Has specific cable connection in indoor cable conductor, and

1-6 single core cable, at the same time in the lower part of the

preparation of removable metal plate, to ensure that the site

construction convenience.

8.3.5 Instrument Compartment

Instrument interior insulation can be installed relay protection

equipment, instruments, electrical monitoring indicator and

special requirements of secondary equipment.

8.4 Prevent Wrong Operation Interlock

Switchgear has reliable interlocking device for operating and

maintenance personnel to provide reliable safety protection, its

action is as follows:

Handcart from work position to the isolation/test position,


activity curtain board to separate the static contact box, prevent

8.5 Pressure Relief Devices

In the handcart room, busbar room and cable room above, are

equipped with pressure relief devices.

When a circuit breaker or bus internal arc fault occurs, along

with the emergence of the arc, higher air

pressure inside the Switchgear, the top

pressure relief plate assembly will be

automatically open.


Release pressure and discharge gas, to ensure the safety of

operators and switchgear.

8.6 Second Plug and The Location Of Handcart Interlock

Second line in the Switchgear and the handcart secondary line

of contact is done by a second plug.

Secondary dynamic contact plug through a nylon corrugated

pipe is connected to a handcart, secondary static contactor seat

installed in the top right switchgear breaker compartment.

Handcart only in the test/isolation position, can plug in and

remove the second plug, handcart in working position in

mechanical interlock function, quadratic plug is locked, can't

remove.

Circuit breaker handcart in secondary can only before the plug

is not connected to brake, as a result of the circuit breaker

handcart switch mechanism by electromagnetic lock, so I can't

make its closing.

8.7 Charged Display Device

Switchgear with charged display device.

The device is composed of high voltage sensors and portable

display of two parts.


Sensors installed in bus or feeder side, the monitor interface is

installed on the low voltage switchgear isolation room, need to

be detected when A, B, C three-phase is charged, can insert the

plug of the portable display L1, L2, L3 interfaces, if the display

action, says bus or feeder side charged, on the other hand,

shows no charge.

At the same time also can be used as phase sequence detector

or lightning indicator, its effect also is testing whether charged

on the high side

8.8 Prevent Condensation and Corrosion

In order to prevent the high humidity or temperature change the

larger environment, climate produce condensation of danger.

In the circuit breaker room and cable room installed heater

respectively, in order to use in the environment and prevent the

corrosion.

8.9 Grounding Device

In the cable room separate 5 x 40mm ² was grounding copper

platoon, by the adjacent Switchgear, and with the cabinet body

good contact.

Grounding for the use of direct grounding of the components.

Cabinet body with aluminized zinc plate split, so that the whole


cabinet body was in good grounding, ensuring the safety of

operating personnel and cabinet body..
