Project ConceptAllow users to draw freehand, 3D light paintings in an easy, intuitive way.Motivation• Traditional light painting methods are

challenging and constricted to certain lighting conditions.

Risks and MitigationMotion Tracking Inaccuracy • Using custom built algorithm tailored to

track the LightPen

LightPen Battery Failure • Battery is relatively easy to change• Drawing can be stopped and continued

later

Signal Loss • Connection indicator light located on Camera Housing

Display Lags Behind Input • Resolution can be scaled based on available computing power
