PAT Which items are covered by PAT?

•  All electrical items that are used or are in the workplace, including mobile phone chargers.

Where would you find confirmation of the PAT having taken place?

•  On a label signed, dated and stuck on the electrical item.

How often does the PAT take place?

•  Once a year by a qualified electrician.



Accidents How many days off work must a worker have following an accident on site before the Health and Safety Executive has to be notified?

•  Three days.



Working at height At which height must a protective handrail be provided around a working platform?

•  At any height at which there is a possibility of falling. This could mean as low as a few inches off the ground.



Whose responsibility is site safety? Every body that works on the site.
