Yourmobiledeviceisaradiotransmitterandreceiver.Itisdesignedandmanufacturednottoexceedthelimitsforexposuretoradiofrequency(RF)recommendedby

internationalguidelines(ICNIRP).TheselimitsarepartofcomprehensiveguidelinesandestablishpermittedlevelsofRFenergyforthegeneralpopulation.

Theguidelinesweredevelopedby

independentscientificorganisationsthroughperiodicandthoroughevaluationofscientificstudies.Theguidelinesincludeasubstantialsafetymargindesignedtoassurethesafetyofallpersons,regardlessofageorhealth.

TheexposurestandardformobiledevicesemploysaunitofmeasurementknownastheSpecificAbsorptionRate,orSAR.TheSARlimitstatedintheinternationalguidelinesis2.0W/kg*.TestsforSARareconductedusingstandardoperating

positionswiththedevicetransmittingatitshighestcertifiedpowerlevelinalltestedfrequencybands.AlthoughtheSARis

determinedatthehighestcertifiedpowerlevel,theactualSARofthedevicewhile

operatingcanbewellbelowthemaximumvalue.Thisisbecausethedeviceisdesignedtooperateatmultiplepowerlevelssoastouseonlythepowerrequiredtoreachthenetwork.Ingeneral,thecloseryouaretoabasestation,thelowerthepoweroutputofthedevice.

Beforeaphonemodelisavailableforsaletothepublic,compliancewiththeEuropeanR&TTEdirectivemustbeshown.Thisdirectiveincludesasoneessential

requirementtheprotectionofthehealthandthesafetyfortheuserandanyotherperson.

ThehighestSARvalueforthisdevicewhentestedforuseattheearis0.545W/kg.

ThisdevicemeetsRFexposureguidelines

Gettingtoknowyourphone

Batteryusagetimeisdisplayedonthescreen.Ittellsyouhowlongithasbeen

sinceyoulastconnectedyourphonetoapowersourceor,ifcurrentlyconnected,howlongthephonewaslastrunningonbatterypower.Thescreenshowstheapplicationsorservicesusingbatterypower,listedinorderfromthegreatesttosmallestamountused.

3. Using folders

Youcancombineseveralappiconsinafolder.DroponeappiconoveranotheronaHomescreen,andthetwoiconswillbe

combined.

NOTE:Afteryouopenanapp,youcanusuallyadjustitssettingsbychoosingitemsfromitsMenuiconnearthetoporbottomofthescreen.

4. Before installing an opensource application and OS

IfyouinstallanduseanOSotherthantheoneprovidedbythemanufacturer,itmaycauseyourphonetomalfunction.Inaddition,yourphonewillnolongerbecoveredbythewarranty.

uninstallthoseapplicationsandallassociateddataandsettingsfromthephone.

5. Using hard reset

Ifitdoesnotrestoretotheoriginalcondition,useHardReset(FactoryReset)toinitialiseyourphone.

Whenthephoneisturnedoff,pressandholdthePower+Volumedownkeysat

thesametime(forovertenseconds),thephonewillturnonandperformfactoryresetimmediately.

Pleasenote,afteryouperformHardReset,allyourdataandapplicationsonyourphone

willbeerased.Thiscannotbereversed.

6. Opening and switchingapplications

MultitaskingiseasywithAndroidbecauseyoucankeepmorethanoneapplicationrunningatthesametime.There'snoneedtoquitanapplicationbeforeopeninganother.Useandswitchbetweenseveral

openapplications.Androidmanageseachapplication,stoppingandstartingthemasneededtoensurethatidleapplicationsdon'tconsumeresourcesunnecessarily.

To view the list o recently usedapplications:

SimplypressandholdtheHomekey.

To stop applications:

1 Touch >System settings>Appsrom the DEVICE > RUNNING tab.

2 ScrollandtouchthedesiredapplicationandtouchStoptostopit.
