After graduating with a sociology degree and a Masters in Visual Arts, he obtained a diploma from the National School of Photography in Arles in 1997. His works are regularly exhibited in international galleries, museums and festivals, such as les Rencontres d'Arles, la Fondation EDF, le Musée des Arts Décoratifs de la ville de Paris, Contemporary Art Contemporain of Pontmain and Z33 in Hasselt, Moscow Science Museum, Centre de la Photographie de Genève, le NAI (Institutd’Architecture des Pays-Bas), l’Espace Quai1 de Vevey, Diesel Art Gallery in Tokyo. His work can be found in several collections such as the LVMH Contemporary Art Collection in Paris, MAST Museum in Bologna, and the Art Collection Schlumberger-Primat. Fournier's works are not only revealing his passion for science, technology and their mysteries but also witnessing utopia worlds as fantasized by humankind. Whether he uses research made to reinvent living kind or studies made to project potential futures, Fournier always leaves a wide place to imagination. His pictures are poetic and very meticulous, which is the result of a long preparation in advance and a curious taste for opposites patiently fed with films and literature. Vincent has already collaborated with several brands for specific projects: Baccarat, the Synthetic Flesh Flowers, for the new Baccarat Hotel in New York with the designers Gilles & Boissier, Diesel for the Isetan Department Store in Tokyo with the Archeology of the Future project, Columbia Picture in the movie Spiderman 2 with <Post Natural History>, Le Bon Marché Department Store in Paris for the Brasilia serie.
