Machine Design LAB Evaluation 1 (Week 7)

Time: 40 Minutes Total Marks: 15

Read the guidelines carefully, contact your CR if you have any questions.

1. Every class (for example A1) is to be divided in two parts, students with odd registrationnumbers will be evaluated in the first hour of the class and students with even registrationnumbers will be evaluated in the second hour of the class.

2. You are required to bring your student ID card and you will keep it in your front duringevaluation.

3. You are not allowed to bring your cell phones in LAB. Anyone who is found takingpicture of the drawing displayed on projector screen will receive zero score for his/herwork.

4. You are not allowed to bring your laptop for evaluation, so get yourselves acquaintedwith LAB computers.

5. You are allowed to bring calculator, pen and an A4 sheet with you; however; the sheetyou bring must only have your name and registration number written on top left corner.

6. You will be evaluated based on one drawing only and will be given 40 minutes to completethe drawing, rest of the 20 minutes are reserved for collection of the drawings from thecomputers.

7. It is your responsibility to keep saving your work to avoid damage as a result of softwarecrash or power out.

8. You will save your autocad file along with the print screen image in a folder on desktop.Folder should be named as your registration number. Leave your computer with yourautocad drawing on the screen.
