Boy Better Know (BBK) are an English grime collective and record label.

They were founded in North London by rappers JME and Skepta in 2005 as an independent record label.

The collective and record label originated from the grime group Meridian Crew which consisted of MCs: President T, Skepta, JME, and Big H.

The meridian crew fell apart in 2005 after people involved with the crew were convicted with murder charges, which is when JME and Skepta formed the group Boy Better Know.

As well as the group being a grime rapping group, they also create and sell merchandise like t-shirts, jumpers, and hats as well as having their own regular show on Rinse FM with DJ Maximum.

The first album to ever be dropped under the labels name was JMEs Famous in 2008.

This was then followed by the labels hit single Too many man on 25th may 2009 which had featured The godfather of Grime Wiley on the album titled VIP. This later reached the UK Singles Chart at No.79.

Over the years the label had picked up a notorious style of rapping that reverts audiences back to the origin of grime music and basement rap which consisted of fast beats and raw bars with aggressive delivery.

In 2008 the label started a short-lived popular dance called the Rolex Sweep.

In 2011 the label established their own mobile network that is 3G which rents network bandwidth from the company Hutchinson3G. However this idea was ended mid 2013.

Also, the label is now connected with the well known subsidiary label from Canada Ovo and the rapper Drake

In 2016, the BBK roster holds 9 artists, and 2 in-house producers and DJs, with 14 albums and mixtapes under the labels name.
