Our new $17 million, 65,000 square-foot sports and recreation addition provides ample space for competition, training, and fitness. The recently renovated Farwell Field, ice rink, softball field, and tennis courts complete the athletic facilities.

Our athletic staff is here to transform you into a peak performer while helping you stay healthy and safe. In fact, our coaches have been recognized with 24 Coach of the Year honors since 2000. Whether you are working with a Lake Forest coach, athletic trainer, or administrator, you won’t find a more caring and dedicated team.

Lake Forest College student-athletes have access to Chicago and all the Chicagoland professional sports teams. And many have interned with the Chicago Bears, Blackhawks, Cubs, White Sox, Sky, Fire, Wolves, and Bandits. Whether for internship purposes or social enjoyment, there is a professional team in nearly every sport not far from campus.

Chicago has recently been voted #1 sports city in the nation by Sporting News.

Forester athletes graduate with what it takes to succeed in anything they choose to do.

Swimmer and cross country runner alumnus Brandon Johnson - Winner of a National Institutes of Health award for neuro-muscular research while a PhD candidate at Stan-ford University.
