Lake Greenwood

Beautiful Lake Greenwood, 26 miles long and 2 miles wide

at its broadest, comprises ap-proximately 11,400 acres of

surface water and 180 miles of shoreline. Pool elevation is ap-proximately 446 feet above sea

level with adjacent shoreline areas rising to over 505 feet.

The maximum depth is 70 feet. Shoreline development is ex-

tensive and is characterized by numerous piers and docks.

Moderate temperatures in the

Lake Greenwood area allow for year-round fishing and other

recreational activities.
