LCCYM’s Philosophy of Youth Ministry
THE GOAL OF YOUTH MINISTRYTHE GOAL OF YOUTH MINISTRY
To produce spiritually maturing adolescents, fulfilling the Great Commission, by means of a culturally acceptable vehicle, so that the body of Christ may be edified. (Based on Matt. 28:19-20 and Eph 4:11-12)
Go therefore and make disciples of all the
nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and
the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you;
and lo, I am with you always, even to the very end
of the age.

And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as
evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for
the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ.
