Ms. Stacia Deering, GLOBE teacher, works with Project Potential (gifted) students from kindergarten to sixth grade. Lakeview students have been collecting data since January of 1996. The GLOBE Program gives students the opportunity to demonstrate extraordinary skills that may not be apparent in a regular classroom setting. It fosters independence, integrity, and curiosity about our environment.
Our GLOBE SiteOur GLOBE site is in
a fenced area next to the school. It has a well occasionally used to fill an artificial lake. The site has been mostly undisturbed for 20 years and is left “natural”. Our hydrology site is an artificial lake near the school.
