Lama Karma Namgyel Rinpoche was born in Bhutan and entered a Drukpa Kagyu monastery at age 7 where he was instructed in healing mantras, chanting, divinations and sacred dance. He studied Buddhist Philosophy at Tharthang Nyingma Institute in Nepal with some of the most revered masters of the Nyingma lineage. The Ven. Lama Karma speaks five languages and is the founder and spiritual head of the Drukpa Mila Centers in Longmont, CO and Salem, OR.
