Typology
• All existing typologies should be provided for cross-reference,
• but no attempt will be made to superimpose a new typology.

PHASE 1: SHAPE ANALYSIS
• Feature trees for – General Shape (fuel chamber form) – Nozzle– Disc– Handle– Shoulder– Base
• Useful for fragments and intact lamps

How to contribute
• For each sample, send:– JPG image: Top (with mm scale), – (additional optional images): Right profile,
Back profile and Base images. • hi-res images at 300 dpi resolution. Images will be
resized and converted to screen resolution for the web.
– Description detail, include inv number– Context, date and published parallels.
