LAN GAME: A REAL HUNTING AND POPULAR NETWORK AS SOCIAL NETWORK

A LAN Gaming is a temporary, sometimes spontaneous, gathering of people with computers, between which they establish a local area network(LAN), primarily for the purpose of playing multiplayer video games. The first LAN Gaming center located on a college campus was Savage Geckos which was opened by Bruce McCulloch Jones as a tenant of Eastern Michigan University's Student Center, both opening on November 6, 2006. The Tech Vibes  for instance, provide weekends of socializing and

playing, at a large gathering (an event of several thousands) of dedicated game fans. Terry Flew in his book Games: Technology, Industry, Culture also emphasizes the Online Gaming Communities – "where players aren't physically located in the same space, but still socializing together". As the tradition LAN Gaming is very famous and popular among all and organize by many centers or organization or colleges.

Now from more than three years as the tradition goes on BIRLA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY,

JAIPUR also conducted LAN Game in “Tech Vibes.” Yeah....its when you participate in our online gaming event.... As its popularity increases, there were many students participated this year in various types of LAN Gaming hold in BIT, Jaipur, its more than 130 students participated on first day (prelim round). This year BIT also introduced a new game that was TAKKEN, which was very interesting and more popular game among the participant along with FIFA, COUNTER STRICK, NFS . The more entries came for counter strick and Takken.while this year a record break performance in the final by Aveg Chaudhary from BE(Ist) year in NFS, who completed his lap within 1:23:04.
