Descripcin General |General Description

Los lanzadores y receptores de scraper Tormene Americana son de

simple operacin, probado diseo y solidez estructural.

Los mismos son diseados para una amplia gama de rangos de

presiones de operacin, siguiendo las normativas de cdigos

internacionales como ASME, API u otros aplicables segn

especificaciones particulares.

Todos los lanzadores y recibidores son provistos con tapas de cierre

rpido, que aseguran un muy breve tiempo de operacin de apertura

o cierre, aun en grandes dimetros pudindose operar por una sola

persona sin utilizacin de herramientas especiales.

Tambin se proveen a pedido, los detectores de paso, vlvulas,

vlvulas de alivio, manmetros, by-pass, etc.

Nuestros lanzadores y recibidores estn diseados para la utilizacin

de PIG mecnicos, inteligentes y/o esferas de limpieza o impulsin.

Se proveen con sistema autoportante (skid petrolero) o sobre bases

metlicas para platea de hormign.

The Tormene Americana scraper launchers and receivers are of simple

operation, proved design and structural solidity.

They are designed for a wide range of operation pressure ranks,

following the regulation of international codes such as ASME, API or

others applicable according to particular specifications.

All launchers and receivers have quick opening closures, which

guarantee a very short opening and closing operation time even in wide

diameters, being able to be operated by one person without using

special tools.

Passing detectors, valves, relief valves, pressure gauges, by-pass, etc.

are also provided on request.

Our launchers and receivers are designed for the use of mechanical and

intelligent PIG and/or cleansing or impulse spheres.

They are provided with oil skid or on metallic basis for cement basis.

La secuencia de operacin descripta a continuacin es informativa de uso

general. No est dirigido y tampoco ser utilizado para entrenamiento de

operadores de sistemas

Lanzadores:

Condicin de operacin:

La trampa est presurizada y cargada completamente con gas. Las vlvulas

A, B y C estn abiertas. La vlvula D est cerrada.

1. Cerrar las vlvulas A y C

2. Abrir la vlvula D para ventear la trampa lanzadora a presin atmosfrica.

3. Cuando la trampa est completamente venteada (0 barg) con la vlvula D

aun abierta, abrir la tapa de cierre rpido e insertar la herramienta PIG,

ajustndolo en la reduccin anterior a la vlvula A con la primer copa de la

herramienta.

4. Cerrar y asegurar la tapa de cierre rpido. Purgar el aire dentro de la

trampa a travs de la vlvula D abriendo completamente la vlvula C. Cuando

est cumplido el barrido, cerrar la vlvula D para permitir una ecualizacin de

presiones, entonces cerrar la vlvula C.

5. Abrir la vlvula A, luego la vlvula C. El PIG est en condiciones de ser

lanzado.

6. Cerrar parcialmente la vlvula B. Esto incrementar el causal de gas a

travs de la vlvula C y detrs del cuerpo del PIG. Continuar cerrando la

vlvula B hasta que la herramienta salga de la trampa introducindose en la

corriente de la caera indicada por la seal del indicador "PIG-SIG".

7. Cuando el PIG es despedido de la trampa e ingresa en la tubera, abrir lavlvula B totalmente.

The operation sequence described below is informative for general use. It is not

directed and will not be used for the training of system workers.

Launchers:

Operation conditions:

The trap is pressurized and completely loaded with gas. A, B and C valves are

opened. D valve is closed.

1. Close A and C valve.

2. Open B valve to vent the launch trap at atmospheric pressure.

3. When the trap is completely vented (0 barg) with D valve still opened, open

the quick opening closure and insert the PIG tool, tightening it in the reduction

previous to A valve with the first cup of the tool.

4. Close and secure the quick opening closure. Drain the air inside the trap

through D valve, opening completely C valve. When the scavenging is done,

close D valve to allow pressure equalization, then close C valve.

5. Open A valve, then C valve. The PIG is ready to be launched.

6. Close partially B valve. This will increase the gas flowrate through C valve and

behind the PIG body. Continue closing B valve till the tool goes out of the trap

inserting itself into the pipe current indicated by the gauge signal "PIG-SIG".

7. When the PIG is launched from the trap and comes into the pipe, opencompletely B valve.

Recibidores:

Condiciones de operacin: la trampa est vaca a presin atmosfrica. Las

Vlvulas B, D y E estn abiertas; las vlvulas A y C estn cerradas. La tapa de

cierre rpido est cerrada y asegurada

1. Purgar la trampa, cerrar la vlvula E y abrir lentamente la vlvula C

2. Despus de purgada, comenzar a ecualizar la presin en la trampa

cerrando la vlvula D con la vlvula C abierta.

3. Con la vlvula C todava abierta, abrir la vlvula A. La trampa est ahora en

condiciones de recibir el PIG.

4. Cuando arribe la herramienta, est se detendr entre la vlvula A y la Tee

de entrada a la trampa.

5. Parcialmente cerrar la vlvula B. Esto forzar el PIG a introducirse en la

trampa incrementando el flujo de gas a travs de la vlvula C.

6. Despus que el PIG est en la trampa, indicado por la seal del "PIG-SIG",

abrir la vlvula B y cerrar las vlvulas A y C.

7. Abrir las vlvulas D y E y ventear la trampa hasta la presin atmosfrica.

8. Despus que la trampa est venteada (0 barg) y drenada con las vlvulas D

y E abiertas, abrir la tapa de cierre rpido y sacar el PIG.

9. Cerrar y asegurar la tapa de cierre rpido.

Receivers:

Operation conditions: the trap is empty at atmospheric pressure. B, D and E

valves are opened; A and C valves are closed. The quick opening closure is

closed and secured.

1. Drain the trap, close E valve and open slowly C valve.

2. Once it is drained, start equalizing the pressure in the trap closing D valve

with the C valve opened.

3. With C valve still opened, open A valve. The trap is now ready to receive the

PIG.

4. When the tool arrives, this will stop between A valve and the entrance T piece

of the trap.

5. Close partially B valve. This will force the PIG to introduce itself into the trap

increasing the gas flow through C valve.

6. Once the PIG is in the trap, shown by the signal of the "PIG-SIG", open B

valve and close A and C valves.

7. Open D and E valves and vent the trap until atmospheric pressure.

8. Once the trap is vented (0 barg) and drained with D and E valves opened,

open the quick opening closure and remove the PIG.

9. Close and secure the quick opening closure.

Condiciones de operacin: la trampa est presurizada y cargada

completamente de gas. Vlvulas A y B estn abiertas, vlvula C est cerrada.

1. Vlvulas A y B cerradas.

2. Abrir lentamente la vlvula C para ventear la trampa a la presin

atmosfrica.

3. Con la vlvula C aun abierta (0 barg), abrir la tapa de cierre rpido.

4. Bajar el perno lanzador N 1 y levantar el N 2.

5. Cargar las esferas, bajar el perno lanzador N 2

6. Cerrar y asegurar la tapa de cierre rpido.

7. Con la vlvula de venteo C aun abierta, abrir lentamente la vlvula B para

purgar el aire ocluida en la trampa.

8. Despus de purgar completamente, cerrar la vlvula C y comenzar a

ecualizar la presin. Abrir la vlvula A de la tubera principal.

9. Para lanzar una esfera, levantar el perno lanzador N 1, entonces la esfera

rodar a travs de la vlvula A y la Tee hasta la reduccin. En este punto la

esfera ser recibida en el flujo de la tubera y el lanzamiento se completa. El

indicador PIG-SIG sealar el lanzamiento concluido.

10. Para preparar el segundo lanzamiento, bajar el perno lanzador N 1 y

levantar el N 2. Todas las esferas avanzaran hasta hacer tope en el perno N 1.

11.Bajar el perno lanzador N 2 y la segunda esfera est dispuesta para sulanzamiento cuando el perno lanzador N 1 sea levantado.

12. Continuar los pasos 10 y 11 en secuencia hasta que todas las esferas

sean lanzadas.

Launchers:

Operation conditions: the trap is pressurized and completely loaded with gas. A

and B valves are opened, C valve is closed.

1. A and B valves closed.

2. Open slowly C valve to vent the trap at atmospheric pressure.

3. With the C valve still opened (0 barg), open the quick opening closure.

4. Put down the launch pin N 1 and raise N 2.

5. Load the spheres, put down the launch pin N 2.


7. With the C venting valve still opened, open slowly B valve to drain the air

occluded in the trap.

8. After draining completely, close C valve and start equalizing the pressure.

Open the A valve of the main pipe.

9. To launch a sphere, raise the launch pin N 1, so the sphere will roll through A

valve and the T piece until the reduction. At this point, the sphere will be

received in the pipe flow and the launching is complete. The PIG-SIG gauge will

show the finished launching.

10. To prepare the second launching, put down the launch pin N 1 and raise N

2. All the spheres will move forwards until they reach pin N 1.

11. Put down the launch pin N 2 and the second sphere will be ready to belaunched when the launch pin N 1 is raised.

12. Continue steps 10 and 11 in sequence until all the spheres are launched.

Recibidores:

Condiciones de operacin: la trampa est vaca y a presin atmosfrica.

Vlvulas A y B cerradas. Vlvula C est abierta. La tapa de cierre rpido est

cerrada y asegurada

1. Para purgar la trampa, abrir la vlvula B lentamente, venteando a travs dela vlvula C

2. Despus de purgada, cerrar la vlvula C para ecualizar la presin

3. Abrir la vlvula A. La trampa esta disponible para recibir las esferas.

4. Las esferas entrarn en el cuerpo del recibidor a travs de la vlvula A de

la tubera principal. Los indicadores de seal 1 y 2 verificaran el arribo de las

esferas.

5. Despus de que la totalidad de las esferas estn dentro del recibidor,

cerrar la vlvula A.

6. Cerrar la vlvula B. Ventear la trampa abriendo la vlvula C a la atmsfera.

7. Con la vlvula de venteo C abierta, abrir la tapa de cierre rpido, entonces

las esferas rodaran fuera de la misma hasta la bandeja o cuna.

8. Cerrar y asegurar la tapa de cierre.

Receivers:

Operation conditions: the trap is empty and at atmospheric pressure. A and B

valves are closed. C valve is opened. The quick opening closure is closed and

secured.

1. To drain the trap, open B valve slowly, venting through C valve.

2. Once drained, close C valve to equalize the pressure.

3. Open A valve. The trap is ready to receive the spheres.

4. The spheres will go into the receiver body through the A valve of the main

pipe. The signal gauges 1 and 2 will verify the arrival of the spheres.

5. Once all the spheres are inside the receiver, close A valve.

6. Close B valve. Vent the trap opening C valve to the atmosphere.

7. With the vent C valve opened, open the quick opening closure, so the spheres

will roll out of it until the tray or cradle.
