LAND DEED Grantor: James B. Taylor Grantee: William H. Coleman Source: Hardeman County TN Deed Book C, pg. 564 Date: 6 January 1832 Notes: 190 acres/$950.00 This Indenture made this 6 th day of January 1832 Between James B. Taylor of Carter County and State of Tennessee and William H. Coleman of Hardeman County and State aforesaid Witnesseth that said James B. Taylor for and in consideration of the sum of nine hundred and fifty Dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged by the said Taylor hath given granted bargained sold aliened conveyed and confirmed unto the said W. H. Coleman his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land situated and being in the County of Hardeman and State of Tennessee Tenth Surveyor District Range four and section two on the waters of Wolf River bounded as follows to wit Beginning at a post oak 80 poles South of the southwest corner of Entry No. 853 in the name of Lawrence Poothmus for 640 acres from thence west crossing a branch at 66 poles in all 200 poles to a black jack & post oak Thence north 152 to a hickory Thence East crossing a branch at 8 poles in all 200 poles to a stake & 2 Blk oak pointers on Poothmus line thence south with the same and passing his corner in all 152 poles to the Beginning containing one hundred and Ninety acres Being the land granted in the name of William Bryant said Grant bearing date 20 th July 1825 & numbered 24029 To have and to hold the aforesaid land with all and singular the rights profits emoluments hereditaments and appurtenances in and to the same belonging or any wise appertaining to the only proper use and behoof of him the said W.

and forever defend against the right title interest or claim of all and every person or

persons whatsoever In witness whereof the said James B. Taylor hath hereunto set his
