Evoking the spirit of the original, the chiselled exterior lines of LandCruiser 300 effortlessly expresses boldness and strength with an element of refined charm. Its broad, uncompromising stance is built to be noticed and ensure a formidable presence on the road. More than good looking, it also helps you to maintain more surefooted control on all road surfaces.

The body is structured around a lighter, stronger high tensile steel frame that’s been redesigned from the ground up and based upon Toyota’s New Global Architecture (TNGA-F) platform that incorporates weight-saving aluminium panels.

More than delivering rugged good looks, this optimised exterior and frame not only provide greater rigidity, but also help improve collision safety, deliver more responsive handling with greater stability as well as improve the aerodynamics for enhanced fuel efficiency.

Plus, when it’s time for the caravan, boat or horse float to come along too, LandCruiser 300 has a hefty braked towing capacity of 3,500kg.¹ When towing, you’ll also have the added reassurance of Trailer Sway Control that uses sensors to detect then help suppress sway caused by elements such as wind, bumpy roads and steering operation.

After filing a stolen vehicle report to the police, and providing your VIN and police report number to a Toyota Stolen Vehicle Assistance agent, the agent will validate your SVT subscription and initiate tracking. They can then provide updates to the police to assist with the potential recovery of your vehicle.

SOS Emergency Call⁸If the situation ever arises where you require urgent assistance, it’s comforting to know help can be available at the touch of a button. In the event of a genuine emergency, you can speak directly to a Toyota Emergency Assistance agent, 24/7, simply by pressing the dedicated SOS button in your vehicle. Every LandCruiser 300 Series packs a highly responsive 3.3 litre V6 twin turbo diesel engine that delivers a hefty 227kW of power and 700Nm of torque. This is the most advanced LandCruiser to date, producing the best on and off-road performance in LandCruiser history.

With all this power linked to a smooth 10-speed automatic gearbox, you’ll have all the muscle, control and confidence you need to tackle almost any challenge.

Regardless of whether you’re driving on rocky roads, sand, mud, snow or dirt, engage the Multi-Terrain Select (MTS) system,⁹ on GXL and above, and it will automatically select the ideal drive mode for the surface to help obtain the best traction.

Drive mode select also allows you to manually choose from three driving modes, or five on Sahara ZX and GR Sport. The AWD Integrated Management (AIM) allows you to experience superior drivability and control off-road and excellent on-road drive.

On steep, rough and uneven surfaces, crawl control helps enhance stability, traction and control. You’ll also benefit from Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) on Sahara ZX and GR Sport.

You’ll have the reassurance of Toyota Safety Sense⁹ (TSS) technology to help support safe driving and protect everyone travelling with you, while the ten SRS airbags help provide all-round protection in the event of a collision.

Every LandCruiser 300 has a reversing camera,⁹ this includes a Back Guide Monitor⁹ on GXL and above, to help make reversing into tight spaces a breeze, and parking sensors⁹ on GXL and higher help warn the driver of static objects.

Active safety features include Blind Spot Monitor⁹ (BSM) on GXL and higher, that provides a visual alert for the driver when it detects a vehicle driving in or approaching a blind spot.

On VX and above, the Multi-Terrain Monitor⁹ (MTM) with Panoramic View Monitor⁹ (PVM) uses four cameras to help provide a clearer view of what’s around your vehicle.

When reversing out into traffic, Rear Cross Traffic Alert⁹ (RCTA) on GXL and upwards helps warn the driver of vehicles approaching from either side.

Pre-Collision Safety system with pedestrian and daytime cyclist detectionPre-Collision Safety⁹ (PCS) system with with pedestrian and daytime cyclist detection is a multi-stage warning system. Using an integrated camera and radar to help detect other vehicles in front of you, the PCS is designed to assist the driver where there is a likelihood of frontal collision with vehicles and pedestrians during day or night, or cyclists during the daytime. PCS includes a visible and audible alert of possible collisions, additional braking force to assist when you’re braking, and if a collision appears to be unavoidable, automatic braking to help mitigate impact.

Lane Departure Alert

Lane Departure Alert (LDA) with brake to steer⁹ is designed to help prevent vehicles drifting from their lane, by monitoring road markings, and providing a visible and audible alert should it detect any deviation from the lane. On VX grades and higher, LDA comes with the addition of Lane Trace Assist (LTA).

Automatic High Beam

Using a camera to sense either approaching headlights or the taillights ahead, Automatic High Beam⁹ (AHB) aims to help maintain safe and considerate driving by switching between high and low beam as needed. On Sahara ZX and GR Sport, AHB is replaced with Adaptive High Beam System.⁹

Road Sign Assist (speed signs only)

Road Sign Assist⁹ was developed to help recognise certain road speed signs and provide information to you. It displays the most recently recognised speed limit on the Multi Information Display.
