To get a large turbine power generator to start in locations where power grid does not exist, a reliable Black Start Diesel Generator (BSDG) is needed. Kingdom Tower is a 1km skyscraper currently under construction in Jeddah, North Obhur - Saudi Arabia that will include offices, hotels, residential apartments, retails and observation surface.

HAWK Power Generation is providing gensets to power 100% this project with Bin Laden Group as a main contractor. The project started in August 2014;Operation and maintenance till January 2018.

The details of this turnkey project include the following:

Sakr Power Generation is supplying the Lebanese American University in Beirut with a fleet of large generators. Implementation first phase was carried out over 2013 and 2014. As project sub-contractor, SPG delivered three CPG Cummins generators: 2 of 2000 kVA & 1 of 1000 kVA, along with a canopy - sound level of 67 dBA at 1m. The successful part of this project was having a sound level of 67 dBA at 1m reached with a 2000 kVA genset whereas it is usually reached with 640 kVA. A 300 tons crane was used to install the generators and canopies. In the future, one 2000 kVA & one 1000 kVA generator sets will also be added to the fleet. On the other hand, no prototype was made for the installation. As soon as installation process was over and generators on, they could reach at a full load 67 dBA at 1 meter which is considered to be a great achievement in the industry.
