SWA/Balsley is the successor firm of Thomas Balsley Associates, a New York City-based design firm that specializes in urban landscape architecture in both the public and private realms. The firm’s diverse portfolio in New York and around the United States includes award-winning landscapes of all scales, including parks, plazas, streetscapes and waterfronts.
Joining Mr. Balsley as principals at SWA/Balsley are Gerdo Aquino and John L. Wong, who respectively will remain CEO and Chairman of the international design firm SWA Group. All three gentlemen are Fellows of the American Society of Landscape Architects.
The studio environment offers interns an opportunity to interact directly with Tom Balsley, the 2015 recipient of the prestigious ASLA Design Medal.
We are offering a full-time paid internship for the Spring 2017 semester to a student with exemplary design and technical skills, and who possesses innovative and sophisticated design/presentation graphics.
