Use to plus a verb to form an Infinitive.An infinitive acts like a noun, an adjective, or

an adverb. Like all nouns, an infinitive can be the

object of an action verb.

Infinitive = To + a Verb

You can also use an infinitive in the subject of a sentence.

The verb will always be singular.

To go grocery shopping is not fun. To go infinitive verb infinitive

You can also use an infinitive as an adjective or an adverb.

I often have a desire to shop. I shop verb infinitive as an adjective verb
