Accommodation

We do our best to ensure you feel truly at home in your host country. Whether you choose to stay in a homestay, a student residence, a hotel or guesthouse, you can be sure that all accommodation options have been carefully selected by Eurocentres. You will be spoilt for choice: select the type of accommodation that suits your needs.

HomestayMost Eurocentres students choose our homestay pro-gramme. It is one of the best ways to get to know your host country’s customs and culture, and the ideal opportunity to use your newly acquired language skills. You will have your own room, furnished to a good local standard. If you have any special requirements, such as a vegetarian diet, please let us know on the enrolment form. We will make every effort to comply with your wishes when arranging your accommoda-tion. Our hosts, families with and without children, older couples and single people – are carefully selected and regularly inspected by our local staff, following clearly defined quality standards. We have been working with most of our hosts for many years now and all are experienced in looking after guests in their homes.

Student residenceIn a student residence, contact with students from all over the world will give you the chance to form and deepen friendships. You will have your own room and be responsible for your own meals. Some residences have university restaurant facilities nearby where you can eat at a reasonable price. Others have communal kitchens where you can prepare your own meals, although not all are equipped with crockery, pots and pans.

Hotel or apartmentMost of the apartments we offer are basic, inexpensive studios with a bedroom/living room and a kitchenette. The range of apartments varies from location to location. We are also happy to arrange or recommend accommodation for you in a two, three and four-star hotel or guesthouse.

“I had a great experience with my host family, they made my time here even more pleasant.”

Stephanie Wanderley Barreto from Brazil

Lidia Zhou, ItalyThe teachers are extraordinary, because they teach with passion, so I was more motivated to learn and improve my English. It’s the best school for me

to learn English because of its personalised education.

New YorkThere’s nothing bite-sized about the Big Apple, the city of super latives. No other city on earth brings together so many races, cultures, religions, and nations. New trends are born here all the time, between the skyscrapers of Manhattan, along Broadway, Wall Street and Central Park.

Alessio Ferracuti, ItalyI had a wonderful experience here and I have reached one of my most important goals, the IELTS. I wouldn’t have passed it if I hadn’’t received the

help and the support of Eurocentres excellent teachers.

Jessica de Lima Braun, BrazilIt has been an amazing experience. I really liked the school, the teachers and the staff. Everybody is very engaged here at Eurocentres. I have

chosen Vancouver because of the beautiful places and nature.

VancouverSurrounded by the ocean and mountains, and with a mild climate, Vancouver always ranks among the world’s best places to live. It offers an enormous range of water and alpine sports for all seasons. You can relax at one of the many beaches, wander through historic Gastown, enjoy the active nightlife, or explore one of the city’s 100 beautiful parks.

TorontoAs the fourth largest city in North America, Toronto is a safe, cosmopolitan city with an exciting nightlife, excellent restaurants, professional sports teams, and exceptional art, theatre, music and cultural opportunities. Spacious parks, wonderful beaches and an excellent public transit system all make Toronto a model city. The world famous Niagara Falls are only a short drive away.

Hiyori Hori, JapanLearning English at Eurocentres was fun. All staff were so kind and easy to talk to. When I had a question, even if it was not about English,

I could ask. I cherish these days I spent at Eurocentres.

Marine Queru, FranceEurocentres Cairns knew how to respond to my expectations. In 3 months, I progressed in English and now I know exactly how to continue my efforts with the tools and courses they gave me.

Santiago Bernal Giraldo, ColombiaLearning English is increasingly necessary to interact with the globalized world that we are creating. The small classes, new

spaces and friendly staff permit and encourage you to learn the language in the best way.

Edouard Lambert, FranceI have enjoyed the teachers und the students from all over the world. I would recommend the school to all my friends because it is the best way to improve your English skills.

Nurullah Diker, TurkeyI feel exceptionally good because of the education, social programme and friendly teachers at the school. The city is so beautiful, the people

are friendly and they have a different accent and a natural environment. I think I’m addicted to Cape Town.

Cape TownThe oldest city in South Africa and known as the “Mother City”. With Table Mountain at its heart, Cape Town straddles both the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. An ideal base for exploring the mountains, beaches, historic vineyards and farms for which the area is famed. Cape Town is a cosmopolitan city with fantastic cultural opportunities and a year-round pleasant climate.

Valeria Valla, ItalyEurocentres Malta is well organized, the staff and the teachers are competent, kind and very helpful. My host family made me feel at home.

Here I could immerse myself in a very interesting atmosphere, full of cultures and traditions.

MaltaMalta offers so much to enjoy that it is essential to make the most of the time available. Its history is vast and unique with the earliest known free standing temples in existence. The island, just off the coast of Italy provides a perfect blend of European baroque culture with a refined English influence, the legacy of the last five hundred years of rule by the Knights of Malta and the British.

Kazuki Seki, JapanEurocentres Amboise is the best place to learn French. The level of the classes matches each student and the teachers are very kind to help with

questions and problems during my stay in France even if it is out of class.

Jean Cudemos, USAI arrived a couple of months ago and didn’t speak French. I now find myself having conversations with friends and my host family.

Eurocentres is a great school where I’ve met friends from all over the world.

Elfva Barrio, SwedenWe are able to use our creativity while learning, which makes it interesting and easier to follow. It is perfect for someone who is longing to learn as much as possible in an amusing and effective way.

France and Switzerland

ParisNotre-Dame, Sacré-Cœur, the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower and other historic buildings and monuments dominate the skyline. A city full of spirit, famous for its arts and “joie de vivre”, its wide boulevards and winding streets. Varied nightlife: trendy bars and clubs, traditional brasseries. Euro Disney is close to the city.

La RochelleCoastal location with islands, sandy beaches and sleepy fishing villages. The rich history of this harbour town has always been inseparable from the Atlantic. From the old port, the first French colonialists left for Canada in the 15th century. Fantastic water sports facilities (sailing, surfing) along the Atlantic coast. A friendly student town.

AmboiseWonderful little town in the “Garden of France”. Ideal base for excursions to the world-famous Loire castles and vineyards. Amboise is situated in Touraine, a region well known for its pure French and classed in 2000 as a UNESCO world heritage site. It’s no coincidence that Mick Jagger has chosen to make Amboise his second home!

Melissa, Costa RicaI learned a lot and made a lot of progress during my stay in Lausanne thanks to the professors and the diversity of the activities. I would

recommend all students to go out in Lausanne because Swiss people are very nice and it’s a beautiful city!

LausanneLausanne on Lake Geneva, only a few kilometres away from some of the highest peaks of the Alps (Matterhorn, Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau), is an ideal city for leisure, exploring, cycling and strolling along the lakeside, and a must for watersports, mountaineering and winter sports enthusiasts. Very close by is the famous wine-growing district of Lavaux.

Marcus Gnoth, GermanyThe lessons are really interesting and fun and the teachers always create a familiar atmosphere in which every student is involved. They

always go into student’s wishes and proposals immediately. Thanks for a great time.

Fons Cras, NetherlandsIn the last 7 weeks that I studied at Eurocentres my Spanish improved a lot as well as my knowledge of Spanish culture. The facilities are good,

including a learning centre with many self-study resources.

ValenciaMore than 2000 years of history is reflected in the numerous monuments and museums of Spain’s third largest city. Valencia has a warm year-round climate and the countless gardens and beaches create a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. A multicultural city with many festivals. Martina Vierin, ItalyLessons are very stimulating and interesting. I’m so satisfied with everything we have been taught. Nadia is the best Russian teacher I’ve ever had and my host family has been very welcoming.

Martin Vocks, GermanyClasses were very interesting and at a good level for me as a beginner. People around the school were always friendly, attentive and helpful. I also

particularly liked how my teacher incorporated short anecdotes about Russian culture into the lessons.

MoscowMoscow is the New York of Russia, the city that never sleeps, but where old Russia is still evident. The many churches with their onion shaped towers, old buildings and palaces and, of course, Red Square and the Kremlin, give the city centre a unique character. Moscow is both familiar and exotic – fascinating every visitor with its charm.

St. PetersburgThe beauty of St. Petersburg lies in the unique harmony of its architecture – baroque, classical and art nouveau, all enhanced magnificently by the everpresent water. Explore this world cultural heritage city that seems to consist entirely of palaces, churches and romantic canals.
