Roles and Responsibilities – NMG and UG Chairperson
• By-laws and corporate rules
• IR 636
• Chairs regular Group Meetings
• Advise SWIFT on the planning and coordination of operational
activities of the users
• Advise on how major planned migrations and upgrades can be
introduced
• Share information/update SWIFT on local practices or
regulatory frameworks that could have impact on SWIFT
users

Roles and Responsibilities - Continued
• Act as focal point for collecting/distributing information on
training requirements
• Key contributor for the proposals for maintenance and
development of Standards and collect & collate country votes
• Identify business opportunities for SWIFT’s capabilities
that could benefit the local community
• Distributes, discusses and gives community feedback to
Board Director and SWIFT management on relevant Board
papers (quarterly)

represented, base on traffic volume)
When needed, UGC asked to nominate a representative
Mid September Receive country vote documents
Sept - Oct Hold User Group meeting to discuss proposed changes
with all SWIFT members in your community
Submit 1 voting spreadsheet to reflect the vote for all
SWIFT members in your community
