Currently Dr. Straub is an adjunct professor in Entrepreneurial studies for the W. Frank Barton School of Business at Wichita State University. He teaches a “core / required” business school class – the Entrepreneurial Experience. Straub International, Inc., Business Executive (1983 to Present):

Chairman of the Board: 2003 to Present

Chief Executive Officer: 1997 to Present – currently entering my 21st year serving as the C.E.O. of the company, responsible for leading all strategic, financial and operational activities of the company. The company is currently in excess of $100 million in revenues and has approximately 100 employees in its five market areas throughout Kansas.

Vice President and Chief Financial Officer: 1992 to 1997 – worked as the chief financial officer and was responsible for all aspects of financial management for the company, also responsible for 7 direct departmental reports.

General Management: 1986 to 1992 – general manager of the Great Bend, Kansas store. I worked with department managers and staff, leading efforts to attain revenue and profitability targets for the market.

General Operations: 1983 to 1986 – worked in several operational duties and responsibilities throughout the company. This was a trainee position to learn operational and general management responsibilities.
