Dear the reader,

In this tradition filled magazine there are messages.

Messages that may or may not remind you of where you

come from, things you do, or religion you practice. Is

that not what tradition is about? Tradition is not only

related to ethnicity or race, it can also be related to how

certain things have been done within a group; for

example, the Firemen from Fahrenheit 451, and how they

perform their operations of burning books. That type of

tradition is related to culture, and culture can be defined

as a groups’ shared beliefs, practices, and attitudes.

Another example would be the Blakeslee family from Cold

Sassy Tree. They have a “tradition” of how and why they

do things within the family and in the town as well.

Tradition lies in all of these books and even outside of

them. If you look around, at the people and at the places,

tradition can be found anywhere.
