Saving TimeTimebus have asked us to refurbish the upper deck oftheir Routemaster RM WLT 450. We are currentlyinstalling Safe-Tread flooring, drainage, trimming theseats with weatherproof fabrics & re-painting the interioron the upper deck & stairwell. Timebus specialises inproviding hire of traditional former London buses of the1940s to 1960s era, restored to the highest possiblestandard and fully licensed & insured for carryingpassengers. They are a friendly, family run, independentbusiness established over 20 years & pay great attentionto detail and quality.
Regent’s ParkedThis AEC Regent V KHC 369 has come in to SEC for
restoration work from a private owner & over the nextfew weeks we will be replacing a number of aluminiumbody panels plus re-paint & replacement of livery. TheAEC Regent V was a front-engined double-decker bus
built between 1954 and 1969. It was the last version ofAEC Regent series double-decker ever built. In 1968, the
British government introduced the Bus Grant which led tothe British front-engined double-deckers being phased
out. The last AEC Regent V entered service in 1969.
