lauren and andrew Brown shut oFF the lights and went to bed. It was a night like any other night—until suddenly a thundering big rig truck slammed into their home, lifting it off its foundation, shattering their bedroom wall in an explosion of glass, wood and plaster, before striking them where they slept.

Talk about bad luck. Who ever heard of being hit by a truck while sleeping in your own bed?

The results were devastating. The home they loved lay in ruins. Andrew received the brunt of the physical injuries: his legs were badly broken and mauled, and doctors told him that if he ever walked again it would be with a cane. Five months of hospitalization and rehabilitation followed. During her own emergency room exam, Lauren was treated for minor injuries – and learned she was pregnant with their third child. This news, which would have been exciting at any other time, was terrifying given that their family no longer had a home and that her husband would potentially struggle to walk for the rest of his life.

Determined to rebuild her life, Lauren worked two jobs. Her cosmetology training at Ogden-Weber Tech College opened the door for her to cut, color and style hair. For her second job she returned to her passion—dancing—and taught competitive jazz, hip hop, salsa and other dances to kids.

She did all this while caring for her twin 8-month-old boys and awaiting the birth of her daughter. “You don’t know how strong you truly are until strong is your only choice,” Lauren recalls.

Still struggling to replace her recovering husband’s income as student coordinator at a local college, Lauren was introduced to Zrii in September 2011 by

her best friend and dance studio employer, brandy Christensen. “We have been thanking her ever since!” says Lauren.

What attracted Lauren to Zrii were the amazing products, the leadership, and the ability to build using a system that gave her all the tools she needed to succeed.

“My mentors have been fabulous,” she explains. “I was a blank slate. If they said do ‘A’, I did ‘A’. If they said do ‘b’, I did ‘b’. I have been teachable and humble enough to know that I don’t know how this business works, but the leaders above me in the Hager Marketing Group do!”

Lauren jumped into Zrii like a swimmer leaps off a starting block. “We sponsored eight people in our first week,” she remembers. “business grew rapidly!”

Consistent, persistent activity propelled her. “My turning point was hitting 4, 5, 6 and 7-Star consecutive months in a row, for a total of 7-Stars in 7 months,” says Lauren. “There have been highs and lows, but I’ve never been afraid to dream big.”

How did she overcome those times when part of her felt like giving up? She offers this advice: Decide each day is a new opportunity for personal and financial growth. Never quit. become the leader you would like to have guiding you.

Seeing Zrii products change lives along the way helps, too.

“My aunt Lana called me in tears after being on the product for less than two weeks,” Lauren says. “She was pain-free after five years of joint and muscle pain. Her life is completely changed. She is able to play with her grandkids. It is a daily motivator of what we are striving for with Zrii. Who else’s life can we bless?”

Lauren is a living example of her belief that those who bless the lives of others can’t help but be blessed themselves, too. “The swelling in Andrew’s leg has almost completely gone away,” Lauren tells us. “He is in much less pain and is now walking without his cane, something the doctors said he would never do. The vision of my two babies, who have struggled with vision challenges, has improved incredibly! I think Zrii Amalaki is life changing for so many people!”

Today Lauren and Andrew have settled in a new home of their dreams in Clearfield, Utah. Andrew, who couldn’t drive for a year and a half after the truck accident, now has hand controls and the confidence to drive again. Lauren loves working from home, taking care of her twin boys who are 2 and her 17-month-old little girl.

She describes her average workday as: “Change some diapers, send some texts, change some more diapers, make some calls, share the plan, make lunch, change some more diapers, play some games, make some more calls, share something exciting on Facebook, change more diapers. You get the idea!”

As if life changing results and extra income weren’t enough, Lauren raves about the luxurious incentive trips she has enjoyed through Zrii. “Rivera Maya was incredible! First class treatment all the way!” she says. “The incentive trips we have been on we’re

amazing, and I never could have imagined a company rewarding us so well for inspiring and motivating people. It’s beautiful!”

Lauren is already making plans to attend Zrii’s U.S. Leadership Academy in Carlsbad, California this November.

“I love to develop others and teach people to dream and push themselves beyond their dreams,” she says. “I am a completely transformed person. Speaking in front of people was such a scary thing for me, but I have grown as a person so much, everyone around me can feel it. I always try to see the positive in every situation.”

She believes it’s not enough to get into Zrii—you have to get involved with Zrii. Where else will you find an entire team rooting for your success? ”I believe that I’m positive, confident, but humble and relatable. I get really excited when someone hits a goal, or exceeds it. When you’re excited, people around you can’t help but be inspired and excited!” Lauren comments.

Looking ahead, the brown family sees many wonderful days to come. “I see us running around like crazy supporting our three kids in whatever they choose to do,” she remarks. “We want them to have the best life possible, and Zrii is giving us the financial freedom to prepare for their futures. I want nothing to stand in the way of my kids and their dreams!”

A perfectionist in everything she has done from hairstyling to dance, Lauren has redefined success and found great joy and satisfaction in showing people they are capable of amazing things.

“I strive for perfection, which is not attainable,” she explains, “but my new goal is to give it my all, never stop, and know at the end of the day I did my personal best!”

t i p s1. Make the decision that you will have success,

be teachable, and also willing to teach.

2. Always stay consistent, even when you might not feel like it. People want to go somewhere with someone who will take them there. If you’re in and out, nobody will believe you!

3. Run with those that are running, no matter where you need volume. If you’ve got someone that is on fire, help them go as hard and as fast as they can run—and don’t look back!

4. Recruit up. Find people who understand business and understand what it takes to build a name for themselves.

5. Stay plugged into your system.

6. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, and get to know your team on a personal level. “People don’t know how much you know until they know how much you care.” ~Susan Walsh.

7. Have contests! The months I turned 4,5,6 and 7 either myself or my leaders were doing contests and prize giveaways! These were fun, and helped get the whole TEAM involved!!

8. be completely coachable and willing to say, I might not know better than my leaders. There is a reason they have had success. I am so blessed to have fantastic mentors! Each of them has played a vital part in my success!

Q } How do I change/add an EZ Order in ZriiOffice?

a } To change your EZ Order go to the ‘EZ Order’ tab under ‘Shop’ and there you can edit your current EZ Order along with shipping and billing information. To add a second EZ Order, just click on the link under your current EZ Order listing called ‘Create New EZ Order’. To cancel your primary EZ Order you must call Executive Support at 866-349-9911. We are unable to process primary EZ Order cancellations via the internet. If you try to zero out the quantities of your EZ Order, it will still process as previously saved.

Q } If someone is placed incorrectly in my Placement Tree downline, what do I do?

a } There is a 72 hour grace period to correct the placement free of charge! Please e-mail compliance@zrii.com or call Executive Support at (866) 349-9911 with the information and we can correct the error. Remember, if it is outside the grace period, placement changes cost $25 per person and the enroller must make the placement request.

A former professional football player and network-marketing veteran, kalin Hall, is our newest addition to the Zrii Sales Team! kalin first began his career in network-marketing in the call center with Nu Skin while attending college on a football scholarship.
