In the ar)cle that I found on Women’s Wear Daily was an ar)cle about LVMH and it talk about the different company’s and the sales of the different companies that they have. One of the companies that they talk about is the Sephora Cosme)c Company. The ar)cle says that Sephora “gained market share in all its regions and con)nued to expand on its global store network, helped specifically by the opening of its Shanghai store which is in China, also known for having the largest stores. Ranking in coming in at $2.80million.
Entry #2
J. C. Penny is one of the largest department stores in American that people shop at. From the reading the past ar)cles J.C. Penny didn’t do so well in this year so far. So they’re trying a “Plan B’ for some real estate. Some of the ideas that people was saying that the company should do is that maybe cut the store into two. Because they already talk about the money that they loan with $1.75 Billion through Goldman Sachs, and also WS’J Emily Glazer and Mike Spector. My worry is how did the company even get to this point in the business. I wouldn’t make the companies smaller I would just close some of the stores that aren’t making, as much so we wouldn’t be in so much debt with companies so we can be more balance.
Entry #3
Ending the winter and fall season we come into the spring season. When we thin of the spring season with think of the warm colors. But for the season bling is the new thing. Pu\ng bling on any of your clothes makes them pop. I personally like bling. I have a lot of clothing like this. It draws a lot of a]en)on I always get complements
Entry #4 Whitney Eve is a contemporary collec)on featuring an array of silhoue]es from party dresses complimented with alluring colors and exclusive pa]erns. My observa)on was based off the Whitney Eve fashion show at New York’s Fashion week 2013 that I have seen on the Internet. She always coming out with something different, there can only be one Whitney Eve. There weren’t a lot of differences in the designs that she had. But the similari)es that she had was that her dresses had print in them, and how she has the different types of party dresses and causal dresses that she has, and also seems like in a lot of her designs she use the same )me of fabric.
Entry #5
When I first walked into the Lord & Taylor store the first thing that was drawing my a]en)on was the shoes. I always go to the shoe sec)on first because I love all of there shoes. When I walk to the shoes I walked over to the Jessica Simpson shoes to see her heels. Of course they were nice I I loved trying them on but they were $170. So I put them back. Then I walked over to the cosme)cs sec)ons to see the different types of make-‐up I saw just a tad bit of MAC and put some on my face but I really didn’t care for it. I walked over to the prom dress sec)on to look at all of the different designer dresses
Entry #6
The trends that I saw in Lord & Taylor were all different styles. I look at some of the shoes and I also looked at some clothing items. Everything that I saw was in style. When I went on WGSN I saw some similar things that I saw in the store online. Shoes, clothing etc.

I really like to go shopping that one of my favorite hobbies to do or also like to do when I have some free )me. When I was shopping at the mall around my house I was looking at the window displays just to see what they have. Because I feel like anything that you have in the display window is going to show what they have in the store and to also draw the costumer’s a]en)on. The first store that I walked into was Topshop. When I was walking by I was saying to myself I have to take this picture. The best mannequins that I have ever seen. The different colors that each one had to bring was very nice something that only TopShop would do. The other photos are from my favorite store Forever 21. That would have to be everyone's favorite store. But I love the photo with the 3 mannequins that look like the 90’s look. They had gold assercroies on them and I really like that a lot. Because 90’s is my favorite decade and also it gave off a hip-‐hop type of vibe. Because I also listen to that type of music.
Entry #9 The Reality TV Basketball Wives LA (VH1) is one of the most popular reality show that is on cable. The women on Basketball Wives all have there own career’s and how the live in life. But for Draya she is the star. She was a young video vixen just trying to take care of her child and her parents. The show was a major success. The women would wear up and coming designers brands to help promote there line. Draya during the show has created a clothing line called “Fine Ass Girls” which launched in 2013. People have already put their orders in to help Draya. Her company was a success over night. Her items are always sold out. Myself tried to order something but they’re always out of stock.

Entry #10 Suboo is a swimsuit line that has lots of different types of designs and shapes and styles for the summer )me. The designer Sue Di Chio launched the line in 2007. I enjoy her designs a lot because the summer )me is one of my favorite seasons. The season that I saw that was very interes)ng was the summer of 2013 ready to wear collec)on. I think the the retailer that would hold her swimsuit line would be like a Saks Fiih Ave because it’s a very upscale swimsuit line.

Then, the fashion designer needs to find the right materials to bring his/her sketches to life. Sewing samples, test garments and eventually the final piece are all part of a fashion designer's du)es. Entry #12 Everyone once in there life ad a fashion don’t. But some of them celebri)es look very terrible with the oumits that that choose to wear. Nicki Minaj on the far lei wear a all shinny red dress. Which is terrible to wear at a Grammy Music Awards Show. Next is celebrity hair stylist Derrick J. He is wearing a dress that doesn't’t fit him properly. Be]er luck next )me. Mary Kate – Olsen looking like she's wearing a floor mat. I looks very bad. She look bad in it. Adele, everyone loves this dress but I disagree. The dress makes her look even be]er she looks like a big apple sorry guys.
Entry 13
Possible career that might fit me would be being a stylist. I really like working with people helping them put on clothes and picking oumits out for events. Also becoming a fashion buyer for a store would be cool I like going through clothes and picking out the best of everything. Also I wouldn’t mind working for fashion shows dressing the models. When I worked at the fashion show before I enjoyed it.
