~ INTRODUCTION OF DRUNKS~

The meaning of drunk or sickness. Sickness can be defined with liquor or it is known theword alcohol. Then there was existence of alcohol intoxication. Sickness will not occur

if there is no substance that can make it to get drunk. Sickness can be defined with

variety of purposes such as silly or , seasick, and various other types of intoxication, but

in Islamic law and the meaning of syarI, sickness or drunk is the effect where a person

is consuming liquor is banned in islam such as alcohol and its effects can be detrimental

to us, such as drunk driving, drunk when he utters divorce, drunk during prayers, and

others. Every wine, liquor was the alcohol , and all liquor is illegal in islam. All of the wine, if

the drink in the least it is still illegal ! alcohol intoxication and illegal, so means that due

to sickness is also illegal because drink the alcohol. Usually drunk is synonymous with

loss of sense of sanity such as closed path and it does not recognize itself and forget

Allah SWT.

~ OBJECTIVE ~

To study the percentage of the number of social ills such as drunkenness in Malaysia. To identify the root cause of this problem. To study the difference percent rate of increase of these symptoms every second, minute,

hour, day, month, and year in Malaysia.

Made steps to prevent this problem.

~ PROHIBITED EVIDANCE OF DRUNK~

There are many traditions related to drinking alcohol (intoxication) among the hadiths

narrated with a chain of narration from Uthman Bin Affan which means Be careful

from alcohol because it can be intoxicating, and it is the parent of the vile sins, indeed

before there was a devout very deep and always go to the mosque, suddenly he meets a

prostitute,then sehes called the devout and allow into the house, so she closed the door, it

was on the side of the prostitute is alcohol and small children. But the woman said to the

pious You can not leave this house until you drink alcohol, or you have intercourse with

me or you kill this little child, If not, I will cry and said some people enter my house !

so, He replied that I dont want to commit adultery, dont want to kill so he chose the

alcohol, and after he drink and get drunk, then it is adultery, and killing small children.

Abdullah Bin Amr reported that the Prophet said, wine is a master of all evil. Therefore,

who is drink it,then his prayer is not accepted for forty days, if he dies, while in the

stomach with wine, he died as the death of ignorance. From the book Hasan : Shahihul

Jamius Shaghir no : 3344 in al-mujamul Thabrani Ausath no : 3810.

From Ibn Abbas from the prophet S.A.W, he said wine is a master of all shamefull

deeds, and a great sin, anyone drink it (the sin) as he fucks his mother, from the book

Hasan : Shahihul Jamius Shaghir no : 3345.

From Ibn Umar, that the prophet S.A.W said, a wine that curse through ten in terms of :

(first) substances of alcohol, (second) wine makers, (third) who ask for it be made of

alcohol, (fourth) vendor, (fifth) buyers,(the sixth) carry it,(the seventh) to ask the wine

brought to him,( the eighth) consumer prices,(the ninth) drinkers,and (tenth) servers that

serve it,from the book Sahih:Sahih Ibn Majah no:2725, Ibn Majah2 : 1121 no:3380.

~ Punishment on the drunkard ~

In Qanun Syariah criminal Law, law of someone who has been convicted for anoffense to drink alcohol or consume any intoxicating liquor , WHETHER OR not

was drunk, drunkard COMPULSORY in charge of whipping of not more than 80lashes, and not less of 40 lashes. This sentence is not accidental in the invention,

but it argues,traditions of the Prophet S.A.W narrated by Ali Bin Abi Talib which

means Rasulullah had whipped the drunk by 40 of the cane, and Sayyidina Abu

Bakr was had whipped the drunk by 40 of the cane also,and Sayyidina Umar had

whipped by 80 of the cane. All of it are collection of traditions of Prophet

Muhammad.

While a sip of liquor several times, and was liable to whipping, but then still haveand take another drink and the authorities look at it is need to killed,then it can be

fulfilled. From Abu Hurairah that the Prophet S.A.W said If there is a

drunk(because drinking wine) lash it, if it is repeated, lash (again) it, if repeated

(again), then whipping (again) it. then on the fourth time, he said if it is (still)

repeat (again), then you must cut his neck! from the book Hassan Sahih : Sahih

Ibn Majah no : 2085, Ibn Majah2 859 no : 2572, Aunul Mabud4 : 187 no : 4460,

and Nasa8 : 314.

~ STATISTICS PERCENT INCREASE IN HEAVY DRINKING IN MALAYSIA~

Malaysia was ranked by the World Health Organization (WHO) as one of the 10 mostwidely used alcohol in the world.In other words,Malaysia is recognized as one of the 10

countries most wine drinkers. Surprisingly, the statistics were contrary to the size and

population of people in this country.More surprisingly,the majority of people in Malaysia

are Muslims. According to WHO statistics, Malaysians,including the malay muslims was

spent RM 1.5 billion to buy alcohol with the use of 7 liters per capita.

5 to 7 percent a year has exceeded the population growth rate of 2.4 percent,while theaverage age of alcohol is 23 years old. Alcohol consumption among adolescents,

particulary under the age of 18 increased about 45% and take it on an ongoing basis.

In a study which was done on patients who enter hospital in Kuala Lumpur in 1993, 48%of admitted drinking and drunkenness.

Deputy Minister of Women,Family and Community, Heng Seai Kie reportedalcohol consumption in the country is becoming more serious. This matter should

be taken seriously by the government to fight so as not to spread among the

various races and religions in Malaysia.If it is not checked then the alcohol will

continue to rise in Malaysia and it will couse the spread of negative symptoms of

the other.

*HOW SOCIAL PROBLEMS CAN OCCUR ?*

Influenced peers. Lack of religious education/exposure to religious. Because parents less concerned about their children. No resolution of the faith. Because of the type of alcohol in beer is very easy to get in stores. No self-confidence.

~ EFFECTS OF DRINKING AND DRUNKENNESS ~

Embarrassing the family, the despised by society.

Religion of islam in the scorn, the despised, and met with scorn by other

religious.

State will not be developed, the country full of evil,cruelty,happened the

things that are not in want, such as terrorism.

The country will be easy to suppress by other countries.

The future leader is not have because of this phenomena occurring and

increased among youth.

State will exclude the cost of treatment for many patients caused

alcoholism and drunkenness.

Damage morals and beliefs of people of faith turn to God and destroy his

faith.

From the social aspect of enmity and hatred between people,could play

havoc with house hold,family,community,and country.

Damage to human health such as blood pressure is uncertain,nerve

damage,causing hepatitas,heart,kidney damage,cancer,stroke,paralysis,

poisoning and crazy.

Effect of alcohol will restricting the role of brain from functioning

properly.

Society altogether prohibited cursed to drunk (due to drinking alcohol), becauseonly God is entitled to condemn a man/women until they repent!
