Keith and I have been close friends for almost two years. However, I grew up only atown away from Mr. Maynard and we have always associated with the same group offriends.
Mr. Maynard has always been shown to be a very compassionate and loyal man. Heinteracts well with his peers and has always shown self respect and respect towardsothers. He has also proved to be a great parent and role model to his teenage daughter. After observing Keith's parenting, I have no doubt he is a devoted and understandingfather to his adolescent daughter.
I believe in Mr. Maynard and strongly stand by him. I can assure you that Mr. Maynardwill not only comply with the education program, but will also carry out what he learnsfrom it. Re: Keith Maynard
Dear Judge Kaplan,I have known Keith since the age of 14. Over the years, I have seenKeith grow into a very humble, hard working member of the Ansoniacommunity and caring father. I have personally worked with Keith as hisdirect supervisor during his time as a program volunteer at the Boys &Girls Club. During that time, Keith led by example and was looked up toby our members. Keith was also very instrumental in helping to get theAnsonia Unit of our organization off the ground by making the people inthe town of Ansonia aware of what we do and what we stand for.
Keith has always looked out for the best interest of the community as awhole and has supported the Boys & Girls Club in many endeavors.
Please feel free to contact me directly with any questions you may have.

Re: State v Keith Maynard
Dear Judge Kaplan:
Please accept this letter on behalf of Keith Maynard. As Keith is requesting to participatein the pretrial family violence education progrurm, I ask you to please allow him theopportunity to take advantage of this program.
I have known Keith and his family for many years; I've watched Keith become an adultwho is a responsible parent and a hard working individual.
I, also, served with him on the City of Ansonia Board of Aldermen for several years.Keith listened to public concerns and attempted to resolve problems or referred to theproper source, following up with public inquires while serving the citizens of Ansonia.I've witnessed his mentoring to youth; his involvement, commitment and dedication toour town.
Keith is surrounded by many family members and good friends who are willing and eagerto help him. If allowed to take part in this program, it will be an opportunity for Keith toimprove the way he communicates in personal situations, becoming more aware ofcontrolling his attitude and behavior.
Please strongly consider giving him this opportunity for I believe he will dedicate himselfto avoiding confrontations and excelling in life'

that only God can help him through. He's young and I know he believesin doing the right thing where this dilemma is concerned. He will always
remain a young man who made a quick decision to react unlike we knowhim to be, but also one who feels the pain from his actions and willing toresolve and correct his mistake of violent behavior and move forward in amanner of making things right between he and his wife. If she is willingto forgive him, and he is willing to accept a resolution that will benefitboth parties, then who are we the people to determine his punishment?Let that decision be between Keittr" his wife and God. Allow Keith to askher for forgiveness, and let time and forgiveness be the factor in bringingthern.back together again. Keith Maynard deserves another ohance.I remairq
