— David Todd toddytalks.com

— Dr Sven Hansen resiliencei.com

As a presenter, something he has done professionally

since 1991, David’s (better known as ‘Toddy’) style, as we

saw at last year’s conference, is both entertaining and

thought provoking.

Since the establishment of ‘Toddy Talks’ David’s client

list includes, among others, Harcourts, Silver Fern Farms,

Landcorp, BNZ, Mission Estate, Dairy NZ, Farmlands,

BrokerNet, Fastway Couriers, ANZ, and Pioneer. He has

spoken throughout New Zealand, in Australia and in

Bangkok Thailand.

David is degree qualified from Lincoln College (B Com Ag

Valuation/Farm Management).

‘Toddy Talks’ was established in 2011 following a little over

two decades in Rural Banking that included a variety of

roles. Highlights of this include being chosen as the Bank’s

representative at the NZ Opportunities Expo in London and to

visit Uruguay to assess opportunities there.

David’s association with things legal during his time in

banking gave him some insight into the world of law. He does

note that his almost unblemished University record of

‘C’ passes was blemished by an ‘A-’ for Ag Law.

He completed a Directors Course run by the NZ Institute of

Directors in 2008.

Dr Sven Hansen, (MBChB, MBA) has pioneered preventative

medicine, stress mastery, and the Performance mindset.

He has worked with many global, sports and educational

organizations to build Resilience. Sven challenges you to

transform by integrating physical, emotional, cognitive and

moral resilience into life, leadership and business.

With a background in Special Forces and Sports Medicine,

Sven has run resilience courses in business since 1988.

As Founder of the Resilience Institute, he leads teams in

Australasia, Asia, Europe and the US, helping businesses craft

resilience into their people and teams.

He is a regular conference speaker on resilience, human

factors, leadership and health.
