Ricardo Luiz Mendes Ribeiro
PhD candidate in political science at the
University of São Paulo (USP). Master’s
degrees in political science from USP and in
economics and finance from Fundação Getúlio
Vargas (FGV) in São Paulo. Graduated in public
administration from FGV/SP, where he taught
economics. Former advisor to the Ministry of
Administration & State Reform, and Visiting
Scholar at the University of California’s Center
for Latin American Studies. At MCM he is
responsible for political analysis.
Bráulio Borges
Senior Economist at LCA’s Macroeconomics area
since 2004, and associate researcher at
IBRE/FGV since 2015. Master of Economics,
IPE/USP and graduate degree in Economics,
FEA/USP. Won the National Treasury Award for his
master’s dissertation in Public Finance. Formerly
with the economics department at Telefónica and
Post-Graduate Macroeconomics professor at
GVLaw.

Thaís Zara
Chief Economist at Rosenberg Associados since
2005. Bachelor in Economics (2002) and Master in
Economic Theory (2006) from USP. Winner of the
7th CORECON-SP Award for Excellence in
Economics, Academic Excellence Award and
ADIFEA / ECONOMIA 2002 Award.

Mauro Schneider
Post-graduate degree in Economics,
FGV/EESP, and graduate degree in
Engineering, Escola Politécnica, USP. Has close
to twenty-five years’ experience in
macroeconomics analysis focusing on the
identification of investment opportunities and risk
management at financial institutions, and almost
ten years’ experience in operational control and
strategic planning at companies in various
industries. Before joining MCM, he was with
CGD Securities, Sabesp, the Safra Group and
ING Bank.

Fernando Limongi
Titular Professor of the DCP-USP, holds a
degree in Social Sciences from the University of
São Paulo (1982), master's degree in Political
Science from the State University of Campinas
(1988) and Ph.D. in Political Science - University
of Chicago (1993). He is a senior researcher of
the Brazilian Center of Analysis and Planning
and vice-coordinator of the Nucleus of Studies
Comparative and Intentional Uses (NECI / USP).
Has experience in the area of Political Science,
with emphasis on Specific Governmental
Institutions, focusing mainly on democracy,
legislative, political regimes, development and
executive. He joined the teaching profession at
DCP in 1986. Research Productivity Scholarship
at CNPq - Level 1B.
Jairo Pimentel
Jairo Pimentel Jr. holds a degree in Social
Sciences (2004), a master's degree (2007) and
PhD in Political Science from the University of
São Paulo (2015). It was recognized from the
University of Oxford and has experience in
Political Science with
emphasis on Electoral Behavior, working mainly
in the area of electoral research,experimental
methods, political parties, political psychology,
and campaign strategies elections. He is
currently a FGV researcher, with postdoctoral
research.
The calls will be organized by LCA, MCM and Rosenberg, under the leadership of political
scientist Ricardo Ribeiro with the participation of renowned experts.
The calls will always take place at 12:30 p.m. (Brasília time, GMT-3), will last
approximately one hour each, according to the schedule below.
