Ø The Oil & Gas market nowadays explore fields with more demanding service conditions (higherpressure/temperatures, increased H2S and CO2 contents, deeper waters etc.). In addition the newassets are requested to produce more, both in terms of capacity and efficiency and with increasedreliability (i.e. less probability of failure on demand (PFD)).

Ø In this scenario valve manufacturers are required to challenge the industry limits in terms of size,pressure rating, materials, cladding etc.

Ø Since LCM designs and engineers all of its products in-house, we can provide the maximum interms of engineering support, response time and flexibility both in the FEED and in the procurementstages.

Our experienced and skilled technical dept is able to design all type of ball valves for on-off service acc/to client requirements and verify its accuracy through Finite element analysys (FEA). FEA analysis is used to verify the structural integrity of the valve once subject to pressure and external loads, as well as to optimize the seat to ball contact surface to obtain an uniform and constant contact pressure to ensure a reliable sealing.

§ Follow up technical, procurement, documentation, production, testing, shipping activities maintaining duly updated the client about work progress.

§ Detect all possible subject that may have impact on the supply from all possible point of view (Quality/technical/cost/delivery/Other). Irrelevant from originator of the subject

§ Follow up the matter and coordinate all actions necessary to close the subject with mutual satisfaction.

Collection of all points that need follow up shall be listed in the actionlist that will be managed by the Project Manager and shared through actual internal meeting to LCM Dept. managers.

Ø LCM performs all the key activities in-house.Ø Rough materials are purchased from qualified sub-suppliers.Ø To guarantee the maximum elasticity and flexibility, in addition to our workshop we use

qualified sub-supplier for some machining activity.Ø Special processes like welding, plating & coating and painting are sub-contracted to “long

term” sub-suppliers and are monitored with dedicated inspection procedures. In so doingwe always assure our customers to provide the latest technologies at the current marketconditions.

Ø All sub-contracted activities are monitored by LCM’ QC inspectors to guarantee that thetechnical/quality project requirements are well satisfied and met.

Manufacturing OverviewLCM ITALIA has developed the ERP ( Qui Quadra ) integrated with internal management system ( FORECAST ) which follow any requirements of our Clients and allows a severe though flexible management of both the activities connected with the job orders and the processes linked with the accounting and/or logistical flows.

The LCM ITALIA assembling department disposes of nr. 3 mounting areas, each provided with nr. 10 working positions.

1 area for large sizes of ball valves, up to 60” 1 area for medium sizes of ball valves up to 32” 1 area for small sizes of ball valves up to 12”

Depending on the models and dimensions, our production capacity reaches a number of 1200-1650 ball valves per month fully customized and individually tested generally segmented as follows: 900-1300 ball valves size up to 12” all classes 200-150 ball valves size up to 24” all classes 100-200 ball valves size up to 48” all classes Our workshop lay-out allow possibility to reach an increase of 20% – 25% production capacity.
