Letter to the Applicant
If you are reading this, with the intention to apply for the LCP 1617 position, I would sincerely like to
thank you and congratulate you for your bravery and your willingness to continue what we have
been doing during this term, but also to make it better. AIESEC Blida needs more people like you.
Let’s be honest: The LCP position isn’t for everyone. You may find yourself spending a lot more time
doing AIESEC work than you already do. You might stop caring about your personal life or school
work in general. You may become a lot more stressed out. But, you will also experience the most life-
changing year you ever had, and I can guarantee that. You will be constantly pushed to your limit,
challenged, questioned and put outside of your comfort zone. But, at the end of your term, you will
be a completely different person –a better person.
Keep in mind that you are applying because you know you are the best thing that could happen to
AIESEC Blida in 2016. Always remember that you will be changing lives.
Remember that being a leader doesn’t start when you are standing in front of the plenary giving
your speech: it started a long time ago, and this is just the next logical step in your personal
development as a human being.
In the end, don’t forget that you are doing this for yourself too. Because you know this is the right
decision to make and that you will do everything to become a great LCP.
I am m sure our LC will be safe and very performant with a leader like you.
I believe in you and wish you the best of luck.
Tarek Islam MAACHE
