But, is this all we can do for the environment?

We can’t let other people (companies, industries etc.) destroy our environment!

• In the 1980s elephant population in Africa was less than 600,000 because of the ivory trade.

• Currey made a short film about the ivory trade.The film was broadcasted in the UK News and shocked people all around the world.

The company Coca-Cola-India was using in Varanasi of India huge amounts of groundwater for its factory. Local farmers had no water to farm. Millions of farmers have been forced to migrate to the cities.

Local people made a lot of protests and demonstrations.

After an investigation, the state decided that Coca-Cola-India was illegal.

Coca-Cola was forced to shut down its factory in Varanasi.
