Kiwanis International President Jane Erickson 2016-2017 203 Caldor Drive Bellevue, NE 68005 Res: 402-293-1282 [email protected]
Jane M. Erickson of Bellevue, Nebraska, was elected as president-elect of Kiwanis International in June 2015 at the 100th Annual Kiwanis International Con-vention in Indianapolis, Indiana. A 24-year Kiwani-an, Jane has been a member of the Bellevue-Offutt club the past 18 years. Prior to that, she was a member of the Fort Dodge Noon Club in Iowa, serv-ing as distinguished club president in 1994-95. She’s been a K-Kids advisor for 16 years and was a Kiwani-an of the Year in 2007-08.
A trustee of the Kiwanis International Foundation from 2002-05, she was elected its 2007-08 presi-dent. She has served as chair or member of several Kiwanis International Foundation and Kiwanis Inter-national committees, including chair of the Wom-en's 25th Anniversary Committee; is a Key Leader facilitator and recipient of Circle K International’s McKitrick award; and is a Diamond-level George F. Hixson Fellow, Tablet of Honor recipient, Founders Circle, Kiwanis International Foundation's Heritage Society member, Walter Zeller Fellow and Mother’s Day Fellow.
Past International President
Steve Siemens (2005-2006)
6478 NE 5 Avenue Des Moines IA 50327 Res: 515-265-7169 Bus: 515-265-8748 [email protected]
As an International Trustee, Steve served on the Pol-icies, Procedures and Structure, Membership, and Sponsored Programs committees and chairman of the Finance Committee. Steve has been counselor to the following Districts: Eastern Canada and Carib-bean, Southwest, New England, Carolinas, Louisiana-Mississippi-West Tennessee, Germany, Ohio, Flori-da, France-Monaco, Ecuador, Republic of China, Ja-pan, Pacific Northwest and Australia. His assign-ments have also included being Board Counselor to the Circle K International Board.
When Steve is not serving as a Kiwanian, he is Presi-dent of his own company, SIEMENS PEOPLE BUILD-ERS and travels over 200,000 miles all across the United States, as well as abroad, motivating and training people in a variety of settings.
Steve has been a featured seminar leader at six In-ternational Kiwanis Conventions. Each year, he key-notes many District Conventions and Mid-Year Con-ferences throughout Kiwanis International.

Past International President Wes Bartlett (1971-1972)
Wesley H. “Wes” Bartlett joined Algona Noon Kiwa-nis in 1946. By 1950 he had risen to Club President, the following year he served as Lt. Gov. of his Club’s Division in Iowa and in 1953 Governor of the Ne-braska Iowa District. He went on to serve as a member of several Interna-tional committees and in 1964 was elected to the Kiwanis International Board of Trustees. Wes then served as Treasurer (1969-70), President-elect (1970-71) and as the 55th Kiwanis International President (1971-72). Wes was very involved in the Algona community. He served on the Kossuth County Hospital Board, Algona Chamber of Commerce, Industrial Develop-ment Corporation, United Fund, County Board of Education, and was actively involved in Boy Scouts and the United Methodist Church as well as many other civic and community organizations. Kiwanian Wes was an active member in the Algona Noon Club for 66 years and until his death in 2012.
Past International President Ray Crossman (1930-1931) Ray Crossman, an Omaha, NE attorney, was elected Kiwanis International President at the Atlantic City convention in 1930. A faithful worker in the official leadership ranks of Kiwanis for many years, Presi-dent Crossman brought his legal and business expe-rience to the organization and helped solve the problems which beset Kiwanis as well as all organi-zations, businesses and professions in the early thir-ties. His resourcefulness and willingness to accept existing situations and to fight to maintain the mem-bership figures of Kiwanis had much to do, it has been admitted, with the successful weathering of the storm. His Kiwanis career was marked by distinguished ser-vice in many areas. Notable before his election to the presidency, he was a member of the Constitu-tional Convention committee that drafted the new documents approved in Denver in 1924, including the six Objects of Kiwanis. At that time he was also chairman of the International Committee on Laws and Regulations. Besides being an International Trustee, he later served as Treasurer. He had served as NE-IA District Governor in 1922. His year as president was a trying one. The Depres-sion was severe, and some 5,000 members left the Kiwanis ranks, though, miraculously, only one club was lost. He broadened Kiwanis’ service work with the addition of the International committee on Boys and Girls Work.
