Florianopolis declaration

Thus, we propose that the following actions be taken: Strengthen integration and collaboration between Latin

American countries constructing a regional identity to address food and nutrition problems as a joint effort.

Address the existing major inequalities within and between countries in the region, focusing specially on groups that are less developed and most affected by malnutrition.

Assure that all relevant actors in the various sectors related to nutrition at the national and international level work synergistically through regional cooperation networks.
