UPC-838Powerful, precise and portable

Plasma CutterThe UPC-838 is a powerful 80 AMP Plasma Cutter with a

cutting capacity up to 38 mm for mild steel. Ideal for all

metals which cannot be cut using Acetylene/Oxygen, such

as stainless steel, cast iron, copper alloys and aluminium.

UPC-838 Plasma Cutter may be connected to any 3 phase primary voltagebetween 380V and 440V, frequency 50–60 Hz.

Built on the inverter principle which provides excellent cutting propertiesand makes the UPC-838 very compact, with a weight of only 34.6 Kg.

UPC-838 has an adjustable amperage for precision cutting at lowerspeeds, and special nozzles for gouging and cutting in narrow spaces.

UPC-838 emits no high frequencies, avoiding any radio disturbanceonboard.

An inbuilt micro switch in the torch cuts the current to the torch if thenozzle is loosened. The Plasma Cutter will also shut down automatically if

the air supply is insufficient, or if the duty cycle is exceeded.

Warning lights on the front panel inform the operator about the reason forshut down, and the power will automatically return when the air supply is

corrected or the machine has cooled down.

UPC-838 has a built-in air regulator with a filter and water separator toremove impurities and moisture. Normal dry and oil free air may therefore

be used. Nitrogen can also be used, allowing optimal cutting quality.

Supplied complete with primary cable (without socket), torch with 7.5m

cable, built-in air regulator, insulated ground clamp and basic accessorieskit. 15m torch cable can be delivered as an option.
