To ensure the continued integrity of this program, members must periodically provide documentation to verify credit union membership = eligibility of the program discount.

•New customers are required to verify credit union membership within 30 days of activation

•Current customers are required to provide proof of discount eligibility when upgrading their device if it has been 20+ months since their last validation

Proof of membership options include any of the below with the member’s name:● Credit union check ●

● Unexpired credit union credit/debit card ● ● Current credit union statement issued within the last 90 days ●

● Credit union membership card ●

Verification is easy and only takes a few minutes to complete. There are two ways to verify credit union membership:•Free Invest in America app for Android and/or iPhone

– iPhone users can find it at the Apple App Store. – Android users can find the app in the Android Market. – Members just need to search for “Invest in America.” – Members will be prompted to black out all confidential information within the app right on

their phone. – This app also lists all other Invest in America discounts.

•Fill out and fax the Sprint verification form and supporting documents to the Sprint Corporate Accounts: 913.523.1987 or toll free: 877.687.8211 Members need to black out all confidential information ontheir documentation prior to faxing.

CU Solutions Group Efforts•Developed and launched the IIA app

•Created app “how to” tutorials (LMCU) for member education

•Created newsletter articles for both CUs and members (LMCU)

•Continued communication: leagues/LSCs, all participating CUs and members

•Sent educational e-mails directly to IIA opted-in members

•Provided IIA/Sprint signage to 300+ Sprint locations (malls, etc.)

Renewal Forms for the Sprint Credit Union Member Discount program should be submitted no later than October of the new Contract Year (October 2012).

Participating credit unions are responsible for marketing the program throughout the entire Contract Year, via their website, lobby and newsletter beginning in October, regardless of when they schedule their statement insert mailing, by utilizing the free materials provided.

Credit unions can submit their renewal form in October and still schedule for a July statement insert mailing.In the future, please communicate this to your credit unions to ensure that they have ample time to fulfill all of the minimum marketing requirements.

Remaining opportunities for the 2012-2013 Contract Year statement insert: April Mailing (3/31/2013 Statement Closing Date) Requests must be received by 3/1/2013July Mailing (6/30/2013 Statement Closing Date) Requests must be received by 6/1/2013

Of the 1,818 participating credit unions, 35% (628) have not yet renewed for the 2012 - 2013 Contract Year.

The annual Sprint marketing incentives are generated from overall member usage – a good reason to keep it in members’ minds. The more the program is taken advantage of, the more members save and the higher the incentives become.

Credit union marketing requirements:• Promote Sprint service exclusively • Include a quarterly statement insert at least once per Contract Year• Continuously display Sprint lobby materials • Publish approved newsletter articles at least two (2) times per Contract Year • Display approved Sprint banner and link on credit union website

Additional ways credit unions can keep Sprint growing: statement messaging, posters, team up with local Sprint stores for lobby events, add the discount to benefits of credit union employment.
