Read me & find out...

Who can do this? - Anyone can & that includes you.1) But I’m not artistic! - Do you want to be?2) I already paint. What does this wax art offer me?Everyone can express themselves using the encaustic art wax colour process. It is not difficult to play with these colours & discover wonderful results, often in just a few moves of the iron. Whether you are a total novice to 2 dimensional artwork or an experienced painter & colour user, there are fascinating qualities to molten wax. It is a reworkable unfreezable paint - just touch it at any time with the iron & it comes back to life. Change is always possible, yet it is finished as soon as it cools.

To be creative you need to play, & when you play, to explore, yet always remain able to change the result, then you have a true opportunity to discover & succeed, even when you have no apparent artistic skills. Melt these coloured wax blocks onto the low heat iron & your creative process is already begun. The fantasy abstract above is a doodle from the Quick Cards program. It took about a minute to do, because things just emerge in a magical way when you use encaustic art.ANYONE CAN DO THIS INSTANTLY COOL & FINISHED MELT ANY TIME TO REWORK IDEAL RELAXATION CREATIVE & FUN FASCINATING & STIMULATING REWARDING & INSPIRING CAN DEVELOP INTO FINE ARTLandscapes may look complex, but you will soon amaze yourself & friends with images like this one from the LTS video. Melt wax colour onto the iron then smooth it onto the card to create an instant sky. Smooth on the horizon & landscape colour, then dab to form foliage effects, use the iron’s edge for grasses & the tip for birds & flowers. Ten seconds for it to cool, finally polish with a soft tissue. Just Magical!

BEAUTIFUL WAX BLOCK COLOURS

Encaustic Art wax colours are made to be safe, fun, long lasting &

powerful. All 48 colours can be intermixed to create

virtually any hue or shade

Wax blocks offer a beauty of colour that is hard to find in almost any other medium. They handle light in a similar

way to stained glass & so have that lovely glow, especially

once they have been polished to a soft sheen with tissue.

ArtSet Wax selection are the 16 colours in yellow boxes

Available individually or in 3 set packs of 16 blocks (see below). Easy to hold, don’t roll off the table, designed for melting!
