Critical thinking/problem solving

Critical thinking is the use of those cognitive skills or strategies that increase the probability of a desirable outcome.

Problem solving can be broken down into a three part process.

1. Analyze the problem and/or determine what is meant to be accomplished.

2. Determine the best way of accomplishing the desired outcome or fixing the error.

3. Attain the goal through the means and steps that have been chosen.
