    What is Learning Suite?Learning Suite by Microsoft is a set of innovative applications for

    Education thatwhen combined with the power of Microsoft Windowsand Officecreate a robust, creative and collaborative learningenvironment for students and educators.

    How do you get it? There are four ways.

    1. My PC: Students and teachers can get Learning Suite through theiracademic institution and/or when they purchase a My PC.

    2. Shape the Future: OEMs can pre-install Learning Suite on Shape theFuture PCs.

    3. Partners In Learning (PIL): Teachers who join PIL can get access toLearning Suite via the PIL website.

    4. Volume License Agreements: Institutions that have existing volumelicense agreements with Microsoft can offer Learning Suite to their

    students.

    Microsoft Windows 7 + Office 2010 + Learning SuiteCreate and collaborate across a full range of media tools including text,audio, photography, music, and video. These media assets can beintegrated into documents, presentations, movies, or web sites creatingthe right formula for todays classroom. In addition, the teacher resourcesand tools included in Learning Suite empower educators to effectivelyintegrate technology into their curriculum.

    MICROSOFT PHOTOSYNTH

    Photosynth has the ability toreconstruct a scene or object from a

    bunch of flat photographs, and thetechnology to bring that experienceto virtually anyone over the Internet.

    Images are examined for similarities and Photosynth uses that

    information to estimate the shape of the subject and the vantagepoint each photo was taken from. With this information, thespace is recreated and is used as a canvas to display andnavigate through the photos.

    Create a SynthLog on to Photosynth.net and upload your photosfrom the web or computer. Photosynth will thenprocess all of your pictures and create the synth.

    Take the photosUse a digital camera to take overlapping pictures of yoursubject, whether it be a landmark or a landscape.

    Kodu is a new visualprogramming language made

    specifically for creating games.The language is simple andentirely icon-based.

    The Kodu language is designed specifically for game

    development. Programs are expressed in physical terms, usingconcepts like vision, hearing, and time to control characterbehavior. While not as general-purpose as classical programminglanguages, Kodu can express advanced game design concepts ina simple, direct, and intuitive manner.

    Microsoft Digital Literacy is a curriculumdesigned to teach and assess basic
