the end of the XVI century and the first half of the XVIII century in Lecce and the Salento area, can be
easily reached from the apartment by foot. Lecce is known in particular for its elaborately decorated
buildings. It is very pleasant to visit the historic city center and stroll through the beautiful old streets
and alleyways filled with people and restaurants where it is possible to sample the excellent local
cuisine. Due to its strategic position, a stay in Lecce also offers the chance to spend time at the seaside
