Departmental Activities at a Glance.
Seminar: One day Seminar on “GST- Grievance and RedressalMechanism” (31st July 2017): Seminar was organized with objectives to getcomprehensive understanding of fundamentals of GST and update on recent changes and also toprovide Grievance Redreassal Mechanism to industry practitioners.
Seminar was attended by Academicians and Industrialists across the Nashik district. Mr. H.A.Bhakare, Joint Commissioner -Sales Tax Nashik Division, Mr. M.L. Patil, State DeputyCommissioner-Sales Tax, Nashik division and Mr. Pradip Peshkar, President Udyog Mitra Nashikwere eminent speakers in seminar.

Induction Programme of MBA first year “Wave-VI” was organized by Department of
Management Studies of Sandip Foundation from 10th to 11th August 2017. It was inaugurated by Mr.
Mahesh Zagade, Divisional Commissioner, Nashik, Mr. Narendra Goliya, Chairman Rishabh
Instruments, Nashik, and Mr. Ganesh Kothawade, GM ABB Nashik, Dr. S. T. Gandhe, Principal
SITRC, Dr. R.S. Patil, HOD MBA and faculties and students were present.
Induction programme was intended to well come first year MBA students at Department of
Management Studies. Its also focused on making students aware of the working systems of Sandip
Foundation. It was also intended to make themselves familiar with each other and their seniors.
Prof. Ashoo Gupta Khan made students to get involved in group activities like Management Games,
through which students learn decision making and team work and its benefit. Second year students
of MBA have co-ordinated induction programme under Prof. Sarika Patil and band of professors of
MBA.
Guest Lecture-(16/08/2016): “Campus to Corporate” Dr. Anil Keskar
Guest Lecture delivered by Dr. Anil Keskar, Ex Head of the Department PUMBA, Pune University
on “Campus to Corporate”. He narrated his experiences to students of MBA and suggested the
readiness that students should adopt. He also suggested students to stay tune with changing
environment at working place and at business houses so that adaptability must be easier.

Guest Lecture-(19/08/2016): “ERP-a Need of an Organizations” Mr.
Milind Gore:
Guest Lectutre delivered by Mr. Milind Gore, Chief Financial officer of Right tight fastners Pvt Ltd.
Nashik on “ ERP-a Need of an Organizations”. He explained that ERP is an enterprise-wide
information system that facilitates the flow of information and coordinates all resources and
activities within the business organization. ERP solutions evolved from applications focused on
materials requirements and resource planning and computer integrated manufacturing.

“Battle Field”(23rd & 24th August 2017): Simulation of Real World
Business Process Activity : Battle Field 2017, the activity has been conducted for MBA
1st year students to create sense of Entrepreneurship among the students. Students have learn
Market Survey, Product Selection, Location Selection, Price and Cost Estimation, Finance
Generation, Profit and Loss sharing etc. through this activity. Also individual and group decision
making and execution of plan etc have been toughs through this activity.
Objectives:
1.To make students Learn Entrepreneurial Lessons Practically through Battle Field Activity.
2. Also To Teach management concept such as planning , Organizing , Coordination, Market
Analysis, Marketing & Financial Management practically .
Students identified various location in Nashik were they could fetch more an more public towards
their stall. College Road, Mahatma Nagar, Gangapur Road, Golf Club, Ashok Sthamb, Bytco Point
were some the areas wherein the students had put their stall. The profits which the students earned
from battlefield would be utilized for the social cause & betterment of underprivileged people of the
society as part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Profits would be donated to Adhar
Ashram, ZP Schools & Old Age Homes.

Lecture delivered on “Mutual Funds” (Asset Management) by Mr Aditya Hinge, HDFC Mutual
Fund to give Insights about Mutual Funds to the students and To make them aware about Career
opportunities In HDFC Mutual Fund (AMC).
