Engineers Canada deal with accreditation (your program must be accredited. Colleges are not accredited)
Consulting Engineer specification: not just a P. Eng. Engaged in direct-to-public private practice for 2 years, 5 years of satisfactory practice
Ontario Professional Engineers Act, 1990 (Statues of Ontario, Chapter P.28)
- Section 1 of the Act: Definition of Engineeringo “professional engineer” means a person who holds a license or a temporary license
- Section 14 of the Act: Membership Criteria- Section 72 of Ontario Regulation 941/90, established under Section 7(1)21 of the Act: Definition
of Professional Misconducto Harassmento Negligence – they will take your license
