From humble beginnings in 1995 Leda has grown to over eighty five staff, hundreds of prod-ucts and many offices across Australia. Our core competencies are in the manufacture and installation of bollards, gates, bicycle parking and loading bay area’s. As a result of our work in anti ram raid bollards Leda is also one of the few companies in Australia experienced in the provision of impact tested equipment for hostile vehicle mitigation, a common requirement for high security and government sites.

Leda Security Products Pty Ltd (Leda) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Leda Trading Pty Ltd. Head office is located at Tuggerah on the NSW Central Coast. Leda has been in operation since 1995 when it started with one bollard product and one staff member in Sydney. Since that time, Leda has grown to 85 full time staff across NSW, VIC, QLD, WA and SA with hun-dreds of products with 4 major product ranges as above. In each range, Leda is a market leader.

Leda turns over approximately $16,000,000 per annum and has completed large jobs in ex-cess of $2,000,000. Our client list is extensive and includes Federal, State and Local Gov-ernments, Major utility organizations, Large corporations, Engineering and property service corporations, Mine sites and many more. In addition to product quality, Leda expect to deliver industry best service. You should receive clear and concise proposals, operations statements and product information. Our production department will communicate dates for the supply of equipment upon receipt of order. Design will supply detailed shop drawings for your approval where required. Delivery, installation and service dates will be co-ordinated well in advance as will SWMS’s and other construc-tion documentation. Our on-site staff will work and communicate professionally before clients inspect and sign off on work completed. Service reports, invoices and pictures for completed installation and service work will be clear and timely. Finally, Leda will follow up and propose preventative maintenance where applicable to ensure your equipment is in safe and top work-ing order.

There are currently over 85 full time staff at Leda under appro-priate Modern Awards. In ad-dition, a great number of sub-contractors are working with Leda every day on a variety of products and projects from in-stallation and service through to design and engineering. All Leda staff are trained in the role they are to undertake. At the same time they are provided with the appropriate resources to assume the responsibility so as to undertake their role suc-cessfully and in keeping with all OH&S regulatory require-ments.

A unique feature of Leda is our capabilities in the vehicle impact mitigation segment that specifically relates to Anti Terrorism equipment of many types. This capability is only possible through our close con-tacts in local and international agencies related to the design and installation of such equip-ment. Leda actively designs and tests its own products for manufacturing in Australia which is unique in many prod-uct areas. Leda impact test under the uK PAS68 standard and support the standards use. We have a strong R&D and footing detail focus in security matters.

Our capabilities related to au-tomation encompass the spec-trum of our products. All types

of vehicle access control such as gates, Bi-fold gates, retract-able bollards and high speed doors for example are auto-mated. From design and instal-lation through to service, Leda is extremely competent in pro-viding automated solutions of all types of product.

The Securabike bicycle park-ing range is the largest in Aus-tralia if not globally and encom-passes a full range of racks, rails, cages and lockers. Our lockers have been installed across public transport sys-tems in many states as part of the growth of bicycle use in Australia and we are proud to be a part of this important ser-vice.

In keeping with our focus of vehicle access control, Leda now supply and install doors and docks including panel lift doors, dock shelters and dock levelers. Our installation and service teams across Australia are ideally suited to supporting this exceptional range of door products. Scissor lifts, freight hoists, Hydroswing large bi-folding and pvc doors are now also part of this range. In 2012 Leda opened our Ningbo Chi-na office and now export bi-cycle parking products around the world.

Securacare is a service and Maintenance program to pro-

vide our customers with the option of three levels of service care for their automated Leda products. In addition to our standard 12 month warranty, our products are amongst the best supported anywhere.
