Ledbetter’s

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty

through God to the pulling down of strong holds. 2 Corinthians 10:4 September2020

Greetings in Christ dear brethren! Nita and I serve the Lord in the greatest place on earth – in the will of God! We love being here in Ireland, doing all we do for souls, and we have you all to thank for encouraging in our labours!

Baptism. On Sunday, August 30th, five believers followed the Lord Jesus in Scriptural baptism. The guy on the right, Alan, got saved in our Addictions Program. The two teens on the left recently got assurance and decided it was time to make their faith in Christ official and public!

This month Nita and I celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary! It was supposed to be back in May, but we had to wait until September to get away due to all the Covid restrictions. So we finally took a trip to Greece

where we got some sun and some needed rest! We gave out many Gospel tracts but had none in Greek! Europe desperately needs the Gospel!

Continuing to Evangelize in Cork City. If there is one thing very frustrating about the Covid restrictions, it is evangelising. Almost everything we normally do to get the Gospel out is severely hindered, yet we make do with what we still have: Every Friday we talk face to face to dozens and dozens of men and women with the Gospel on the streets of downtown Cork City; every Friday and Sunday evening I

preach the Gospel while I play the old Gospel hymns on the local radio station; every day we have people who faithfully give out at least one Gospel tract to people they meet, without fail; and our church doors are open for preaching and Bible teaching every Sunday and Wednesday, and we have had well over 30 visitors to church over the past few months! Amen!

Addictions Ministry. I am excited that our Twelve Weeks To Freedom from addictions course that we developed here is now being used in almost a dozen churches, and now even in Australia.

Some things I would appreciate you Praying about... 1) Please continue to pray for a Christian family from the Ukraine whose husband (Oleg) was in a severe accident at work and has been made blind. He is continuing to recover but has more surgeries ahead. Please pray for God to bring great good out of this tragedy. 2) For our daughter Sarah in her final year, studying at Pensacola Christian College. 3) And lastly, Pray for wisdom for me and the church here, that we would develop more opportunities to preach the Gospel, and for many souls to repent and be born again by faith in the risen Lord Jesus Christ!
