Who is Fluid Transfer?
• Fluid Transfer is a division of Lee Industries, Inc., who
began manufacturing process valves in 1927.
• Lee Industries is a privately owned company located in
central Pennsylvania near Penn State University.
• Lee Industries is a non-union shop with no labor contract
disruptions.
Company History Highlights
• 1927 – Started manufacturing plug valves.
• 1971 – Awarded a patent on the first USDA approved
sanitary flush-bottom ball valve.
• 1976 – Patented the first USDA approved in-line ball valve
• 1976 – Fluid Transfer was formed as it’s own division of Lee
Industries to provide a more personalized customer service.
Since then, Fluid Transfer ball valves have been in service world wide in major food processing, beverage, pharmaceutical,
cosmetic, chemical & metal detection industries.
